Unfortunately, the hotel put me in a smoking room, as they were fully booked. Even though i had requested non-smoking. This was one of the most disgusting stays in years. I could not sleep. The stink was unbearable. Furniture, bedding, pillows, mattress, carpets, curtains, everything on that whole floor had an accumulation of decades of smoke. The room was so nasty, that when i returned home, i could still smell the smoke in my clothes when i unpacked. Finally the last night they changed me to a non-smoking room.
