Hotel was pretty standard for a budget Indonesian hotel. It is a little better as it's a part of an international chain, however, don't expect too much. Service was fine, food for breakfast was better than some places (Although still main stream indonesian style). Traffic can be a nightmare at Harmoni and there is nothgin local, so you need a taxi or brave the busway. I stayed in Amaris for ten days to visit my family in Jakarta. For a budget hotel, the service was fantastic! The staff was so friendly, polite, and ready to help me as quickly as they could. The room was clean and I especially liked the feel of the bathroom. It may not have a spa or a swimming pool, but it had everything that I needed. On the other hand, the sound of the elevator ding was audible 24 hours per day in our room. We were amazed at how much that elevator was going up and down, beeping at every floor all night long. This was the case. The staff taught me some Bahasa Indonesian and were only too helpful. Het concept van de Amaris hotels is oké. Veel jonge mensen die het hotel runnen. Het ontbijt is grootst echter in de ochtend voor mij geen warme hap. Maar gelukkig ook een geroosterde boterham. De locatie vond ik wat minder maar in deze inmense stad met gigantische verkeersproblemen zal het bij heel veel hotels niet anders zijn. Prima service en een goed concept.
