This review is a product of someone not reading the reviews before booking and then getting upset about it. Yes the casino is about a 1 minute walk away as stated in the reviews. The sheets were not dirty and if they were we would have changed them as he never said anything. If the light did not work we would have fixed it asap but again he did not say anything. There are rooms close to the disco and some that are not. The only thing that you said was true was that it can be loud as the reviews state. The reviews tell you that this is a party hotel yet you booked it and brought your FAMILY AND 2 KIDS (around 7 to 12 years old it seemed) which was your call but as stated in reviews this place was not for you. Why would you book here as it makes zero sense? You were probably more interested in the great rate rather than heeding the advice of the reviews. This place is not a family place and I know you were upset by the noise and party there but again if you would have read the reviews in detail you would have known this place was not for you and your family. We even warned you upon arrival this place is not for families and you responded that you understand and were okay with that even though we knew you would not be and we knew as well. Plus there are a lot of party girls there too which again is another reason why this place is not family friendly. Again why did you even book here as it was so confusing to everybody? We have had 4 groups already who have stayed extra days (3 single guys and 1 young couple) and love it there but again this place is for party people and NOT A FAMILY. There is another older man who hated the place as well as he said it was too loud and said he was even going to say we had no blankets or security when he was there which of course we had both - He left after only 1 night. If you were so scared and unhappy why didn't you ask to leave after you arrived or the 2nd day because you did not - the only reason is you were trying to set yourself up for a refund or you would have without fail!! Sorry you had a bad experience but next time read all the reviews instead of complaining about your time there after you leave just to try to get a refund as you stated on your review!!

Wow and thank you for the great review.  We are trying to make this a super nice property and especially the best property for the money in Jaco - Rooms are super nice and the staff as well.  And the only plus/minus for any group is it is a PARTY HOTEL so that is up for you to decide if it's for you or not.  Thanks and Pura Vida.

Lol.  It is always amusing to me when people use this platform to leave a poor review when it is not justified or even close.  The rooms and bathrooms are really nice and for the money it would be hard to find better in Jaco..or even if you paid a little more.  The listing says "Nightclub and Bar Onsite".  This should tell you it will be loud until it closes as you will hear music until the club closes.  If needed you can buy earplugs right across the street at the pharmacy but some people say they can sleep without earplugs but that is up to every individual.  This is a Party Hotel so please know that before booking.  The place is located on a small street in the Middle of downtown famous for partying so please know that before you book because if you are surprised after you arrive you will leave a bad review too.  Note the Cocal Casino (which is beachfront) which is the biggest party in Jaco is less than a minute walk away! There is a great restaurant next door and a pharmacy along with the Main Street less than a minute walk away where you will find everything in Jaco from shopping, restaurants, ice cream, bars and much more - you can walk most everywhere and the beach is close too. This location is amazing! Hi Gary and thank you for the review. Yes we just updated the rooms and property and they are super nice. And for the price it would be hard to find a better or nicer place without a doubt. The only negative to the place if one is it is loud until the bar/disco closes and it is a party place so if not coming to party do not book here please. We hope to see you again soon and Pura Vida!

And yes you are correct, this is a place for the PARTY GROUPS ONLY as it is loud when the discos/bar is open until they close. But if coming to Jaco to Party then we think this is the best place and at the best price for everybody to stay! Plus it helps we are so close to the Cocal Casino as that is the best party everyday in Jaco! Thanks again and Pura Vida.

Again did not read the reviews and expected a tranquil place but did not get what he expected as this is a party place and its loud when the bar/disco is open which is not everyday but it is on the weekends. Please everybody read the reviews so there are not surprises for you!
