Additional Info: Please read below for many more details and answers to any questions you might have:) The 10 story Palms Condo complex is located on the quiet north end of Jaco beach. You can walk the 15 minutes to the center of town where you will find numerous shops, great restaurants, nightlife, supermarkets, and banks. You can also grab a cab/uber into town for about $3-5\. No additional booking fees or resort fees! Our unit is on the 5th floor so it is situated perfectly above the palm trees so that you can appreciate both the beach and endless ocean view. The unit has been updated, updates include a new kitchen and bathrooms. We have an oceanfront pool with lounge chairs and as Palms guests you will have full access to the resort pool located directly beside the Palms. Through a side gate you can enter the resort next door to take advantage of the huge pool, pool side tables and loungers and pool side drink service. There is also an outdoor restaurant , great coffee shop, and 2 other full service restaurants in addition to the Casino and sports bar. The living area has an open plan with a comfortable seating. There's a new 55 in flat screen smart TV with patio doors to the balcony. The newly remodeled kitchen is large enough to entertain guests, or feed the entire family with full size stainless steel appliances (including a dishwasher), an assortment of dishes, and large breakfast bar with seating, and lots of counter space. There is a fridge, dishwasher, oven, toaster, blender, coffee maker and microwave, outdoor electric grill. After a full days of activities or lounging at the beach you will be sure to get a great nights sleep in the comfortable beds. The large master bedroom has a king size bed, ensuite bathroom, smartTV and sliding doors for direct access to the balcony. The large second bedroom comes furnished with a king sized bed that can split into 2 twin beds. Just let us know which configuration works better for you and we will have it set up when you arrive. There's also a TV in this bedroom. An airbed is available for 2 additional smaller guests. Jaco is only a 90 min drive from the San Jose airport. You could rent a car if you would like to have one for your stay (but we highly recommend a shuttle from the airport) You can always rent a car locally if you'd like to do some exploring on your own. We have free secure gated parking in front of the condo which is first come, first served, priority given to handicap. There is an overflow parking across and down the road. However a car is not necessary and most of the tour operators will come and pick you up at the front door! There is in-unit laundry with a full-size washer/dryer. With all of the comfort and amenities of home this condo is the perfect place for your Jaco vacation. Whether you are here to surf, swim, fish, explore or just simply relax, this is the perfect location. There are too many activities to mention but some of them include surfing, ATV rides to the waterfalls, Zip-lining, and golf or fishing at the nearby world famous Los Suenos Resort and Marina. The accommodations of the condo were spacious and the view of the beach from the terrace was spectacular. The condo was located in a very convenient location, very close to the town center with many restaurants and shops. It was also very wonderful to be situated right next to the Crocs resort and my family enjoyed the amenities of the pool and restaurants as well as a matter of connivence, it was perfect. This VRBO was exactly what we were looking for! It was the last three days of our trip and we were looking forward to more room and be able to spread out after staying in hotels for the past 6 nights. The beach was wonderful and having the chairs, cooler and boogie boards available made it feel like home! We also enjoyed using Crocs next door and was able to take advantage of the casino one night. We stayed three nights and this condo provided everything we needed. We were able to walk to resturants and shops and my kids loved the Crocs pool.The property manager was great as well and very helpful. Only downside was the musty smell that lingered the entire stay. The balcony here sells the place - the view is amazing. We saw scarlet macaws fly by every morning! The pool over at Crocs is a lot of fun, too. It was quite comfortable and the location could not have been better. It’s on the quiet end of the beach, but is just a short walk to town. We watched the sunset almost every night at Clarita’s- a beach bar and restaurant just down the way. The guards at the gate were most accommodating when we needed cal a taxi. We had fantastic views and use of the neighboring resort. The staff was helpful and it was a short walk into town if you didn't want to take a very inexpensive cab or Uber. The condo requires some minor updating, but it's nothing that took away from the experience. We would excitedly stay in the same place if we ever return. ##### Todd M. The beach view was beautiful and It was walkable to local restaurants and shops. The local property manager Raquel was excellent with travel support, in helping us arrange outings and with their knowledge of things to do in Costa Rica. Access to Crocs Resort next door was nice to have but it was very quiet. Los Suenos Adventure Park nearby was great for outings and surfing off the beach excellent. Very safe to stay. The only problems I had was that the water pressure was very low but we were having problems with the guest bathroom where no water was coming out so I’m not sure if there was a problem that needed to be fixed. The condo was really nice and very convenient to be able to use the Crocs property next door. We used the Crocs gym every morning and the spent time at the pool in the afternoon. There are a lot of activities in and around Jaco. We were glad we did not do the all-inclusive Crocs deal since several people said the food was not good. There are so many great places to eat in Jaco and only $2 cab ride away. Our favorite restaurant was Ohana Sushi and Tappas. We had a blast on the ATV Tour. The Manuael Antonio is a must see and would highly recommend paying for a tour guide through the park. The surf lessons at Tortuga Surf Camp were excellent and reasonably priced. Would also recommend Hugo Transfer CR for transportation - we had Victor Hugo take us for a day trip to Doka Coffee Plantation and drive us to Manual Antonio Park. Overall we would recommend this property if you are visiting Jaco. ##### Kyle B. This property is just perfect if you're wanting to enjoy some time in Jaco Beach. The balcony is amazing. My first night was a massive thunder and lightning storm and the whole ocean lit up over the balcony. Amazing. The owner is lovely to work with and very responsive. I utilized the pool next door at Crocs Casino and it was a great day. Poolside drinks and food delivered right to my lounge chair. Getting to Jaco town was an easy 2 min cab ride for $2-$3 and the gate guard was always kind enough to call a cab for me. The unit blew wonderfully cool air and the unit was super cozy. The property manager Raquel was so helpful I cannot say enough about her. If there is any excursion you want to do or transportation to and from the airport, she is your person! The beach right outside the condo is beautiful and I went for a long wonderful walk each morning on it.
