Just Steps from Pool and Ocean! A gorgeous, high-end Turtle Dunes villa on the ground floor for easy access to the beach and pool! This wonderful retreat in the gated Amelia Island Plantation has been nicely renovated and thoughtfully furnished with sophisticated comfort in mind. The attention to detail is obvious in this stunning villa! The kitchen has beautiful granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The living area and both bedrooms have fantastic views of the ocean. The main bedroom has king bed and nice attached full bathroom, complete with soaking tub. The second bedroom has been cleverly designed to accommodate a larger family, with a queen bed AND a single daybed with trundle. This two-bedroom villa can comfortably sleep six people. This villa's location could not be more perfect. The beach and complex pool are literally just a few steps from your back patio! We've also stocked the villa with everything you'll need for a wonderful stay, including starter supplies and beach/pool towels. When you're ready to explore, the larger Amelia Island Plantation (AIP) community is a beloved 1,340-acre paradise that is surrounded by maritime forests, tidal salt marshes and pristine, sandy beaches. Dining, shopping, and spa services are offered at the Omni Amelia Island Resort, located within the AIP. Golf is available within the AIP at Oak Marsh and Little Sandy, as well as multiple other great courses on the island. Tee times can be scheduled online. Nearby, bike and golf carts can be rented to explore the larger community and venture to AIP playgrounds like Drummond Park and Aury Island. Many of our guests enjoy strolling on the beach or along the AIP's miles of shaded walking and biking trails. For those looking to adventure further afield, the scenic drive north on A1A will take you to the charming Fernandina Beach Historic District, where you can find unique boutiques, shops and dining options. Drive south on A1A to visit coastal nature preserves like Little Talbot Island State Park, known for easy biking, hiking and birding opportunities. My husband and I stayed here for about a week for our Babymoon. We wanted to bring our dog Sylvie to the beach before the baby comes and this condo was perfect! We loved that this unit is a ground-floor unit so it was easy to let Sylvie out or just walk out onto the patio and relax while looking at the ocean at the end of the day! We enjoyed the condo so much and are planning to come back with family next year. ##### Ashley K. The ground floor walk-out unit was perfect for coming and going with our kids and our dog. There are incredible ocean views from the bedrooms and main living areas. The kitchen was well-stocked and the condo was very clean when we arrived. We ran into a small hiccup with our access/key code upon arrival, but it was resolved immediately and easily through the phone number provided to us prior to our arrival. We have stayed there several times, and were so pleased to find a Villa in Turtle Dunes on VRBO! We had such an easy arrival with no check in at the main lobby, only at the security gate. Both of the bedrooms and the main living area had ocean views, where we were able to watch the sunrise from either indoors or on the patio. Our favorite part was that it had a beautiful green lawn next to the patio where our 7 year old played every day, and it was only steps to the beach. This property is nicer than the pictures suggest. The location is great- at the south end of the Omni Plantation. The first floor patio allowed easy access to the grass lawn , and yet just steps away from the beach. It felt private, unlike a lot of 1st floor units. The pool was very close too. We were able to ride bikes on paths shaded by live oak trees. Loved having the ground floor which gave us more room . Everything was very nice. We suggest that the toilets be replaced with adult size seating. The “child size” isn’t the best to use. The furniture looks comfy but after an hour our butts were sore. (We realize that this sounds nit-picky). We hope to rent this unit again in the fall. ##### Robert N.
