You and your guests will enjoy incredible ocean views from this 3rd floor unit. This property, beautifully decorated and well-furnished, is designed as a hotel-style room with all the accommodations to make you feel right at home, including large, comfortable beds, queen and full, as well as updated furnishings and an amazing oceanfront balcony. We are sure that you will agree, Sandcastle Courts makes the perfect island retreat. All fresh linens and towels are provided for our guests. We also provide a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and laundry detergent. Beach chairs, beach towels, and an umbrella are also provided for you to use during your stay. Sandcastles Villas is one of the most popular rental destinations on the Omni Resort grounds, where you will find three and a half miles of sand and surf, miles of biking and walking trails, and several pristine golf courses. Just minutes away from many popular island attractions, you can spend the day venturing into Historic Downtown, where restaurants and shops are abundant, or spend the day soaking in the natural beauty of Amelia Island at Fort Clinch State Park or Egans Creek. Whatever you choose to do, this property will provide you with an unforgettable vacation! Please note that this property does NOT include a kitchen. There is a laundry room in the building but not in the unit. Please be advised, this property does not offer access to the Omni Resort privileges or amenities. Access to the main resort pool, fitness center, shuttle service, and Racquet Park (Drysdale) is restricted to only club members and their guests. All RVs, trailers and boats are NOT allowed within the security gate. Please inquire for further details. However, the unit is tired and needs a total upgrade! The toilet runs, the deck needs to be cleaned for mold, needs new carpet and fix the patches on the wall and ceiling. Check in & communication was easy. The mgmt company was quick to answer any questions. The unit was great for 2 nights (for a family of 3). Anything longer than that may get a little cramp (as there is no kitchen or couch), but we knew this going in. The view was perfect. If I have to find any cons, it would be that the door to the balcony was either off track or broken (I looked but didn’t notice anything specific). It was very hard to open & close. I got to be “super dad” & open/close for my wife/daughter (so thank you!). The other little issue is that we couldn’t get any tv channels (I think I’m pretty good at finding right guide & input but no luck). The Roku was connected so we had plenty of streaming options for the short amount of time in the room, just no live tv. I highly recommend renting a golf cart to help get around the resort. We’re pretty easy going people and easy to please. To begin they gave us the location, room number AND access code to SOMEONE ELSE’S RENTAL. Huge security concerns! This rental company is currently being tracked and monitored by VRBO over concerns for safety and quality. After a long day of travel we get off the flight and follow the directions sent to us via email and text from the rental company. We arrive and head to the room and use the code given to us only to barge in on ANOTHER family at 10PM at night. Praise God everyone remained level headed as in the state of Florida they were well within their rights to shoot us for entering their residence. We finally get on the phone with the office staff and no one could give an explanation as to HOW this happened. Our booking was another 25minutes away all codes and numbers completely different. All I could think the whole time was that ANYONE could be given our location and access info and barge in on us! To my frustration the property manager Sarah and her husband refused to speak to us or offer explanation, lied to VRBO about the whole situation and did absolutely nothing to rectify it. Not to mention pool closed and missing room amenities from listing. After reviewing our evidence VRBO has assured us they are now tracking all reviews for this company for similar experiences with potential to remove their listings. 0/10 Do not recommend. ##### Allison M.
