Enjoy front-row seating for the sunrise every morning at Beachdrifter 406! Comfortably sleeping four in two bedrooms plus a deluxe bonus queen-size air mattress-great way to enjoy the best view in Jacksonville without breaking the bank! When you sit out on the balcony, listening to the softly rolling waves and watching the sparkling sea and wide sands, you'll feel the workday stress melting away and a sense of peace and calm descending. Ahhh -- vacation! Step inside the sliding glass doors to the balcony, which occupy one entire wall of the living room, and you're in a light, cool space with comfortable seating and a TV with DVD player. You can easily see the ocean from this room, and there's plenty of room to stretch out and get comfortable. In our open-plan condo, the dining area is just beyond the living room, a simple table set for four. The truth is, meals very seldom get eaten here -- the lure of the balcony is just too strong! So, if you like, convert the dining table into a game center or set up your laptop (you have free wireless Internet at Beachdrifter 406) and stay connected. Adjacent to the dining area is our spotlessly clean, convenient kitchen, with granite countertops, sparkling appliances, and all the cookware, dishes and utensils you need to prepare and serve family meals. Of course, if you're eating out this vacation, you may get more use out of the microwave, dishwasher, blender, ice-maker and coffeemaker -- but either way, our kitchen is fully equipped. Just make a grocery run at the start of your vacation and you're good to go! You'll want everyone to get a great night's sleep every night of your vacation, which is why you'll love the bedrooms at Beachdrifter 406\. The primary suite is long, spacious, and relaxing, with an ultra-comfortable king-sized bed, new HDTV and DVD player, brand new desk and lamp for work and reading, and lovely ocean views. There's a little table and chairs in front of the sliding glass doors to the balcony, so you can enjoy that first cup of coffee in the sanctuary of your bedroom, gazing at the Atlantic. Or, if you bring your laptop, you can even turn it into a computer table -- you have free wireless Internet at Beachdrifter 406! The primary bath is beautifully tiled with traventine, with a walk-in shower. In addition, we have another full bathroom at Beachdrifter 406, with both a shower and tub option, convenient to the second bedroom as well as to the living area. And you'll find all the towels and bedding you need waiting for you here, as well as a washer and dryer to keep everything fresh. Come as you are -- we've got you covered! The second bedroom contains 2 twin beds, soft carpeting, and plenty of storage space. This is perfect for small children, for the bright window is easy to cover up for afternoon naps, and there's plenty of space to spread out toys, arrange shells and sharks' teeth collected from the beach, and play! But the best part of Beachdrifter is its location. The beautiful natural sand dunes of Jacksonville Beach are just below our balcony, and a private wooden walkway leads down to the sugary sands. This is a family-friendly beach with wide sands, rolling waves, and balmy sunshine. Water sports equipment is available for rental nearby, or you can enjoy the water the old-fashioned way by bodysurfing, boogie-boarding, and sunbathing! The Beachdrifter condominium complex is quiet and friendly, with a glittering kidney-shaped swimming pool and free covered parking. You're convenient to all the Jacksonville attractions here, from fine dining and shopping to sightseeing. Come enjoy the beach. Was disappointed that major repairs were ongoing to outside. Lots of workman and noise. Should have been informed of impact of the construction to patio railings. Lots of metal chipping and grinding. Difficult to enjoy beautiful beach view and hear the surf. ##### Roy M. The unit was more dated than appeared online and needs upgrades to all furniture and appliances. The dryer did not work....very disappointing. And the water pressure was bad. Toilet would barely flush! Parental locks set on cable tv! Could not access many shows. Good communication with property mgr but terrible/no communication with owner. Took 2 days to get any response, then another 2 days for resolution of easy stuff- extra towels and TV. Owner had a lock on the TVs so couldn’t add apps , took 2 days to get fire sticks delivered. Elevator to bldg went down half way through, never received a response to 4 days of questions/complaints. Left 3 days early as wife had a hip problem and couldn’t do stairs. Gets one star because you can't pick zero. This place was a total dump. Smelled. One full size bath towel each for me and my wife for 5 days. Internet went out. Spent 4 hours on the phone talking to VRBO rep trying to fix it. They couldn't get the cable repairman so said they would they would their repair man next day. Never showed. Internet was in and out entire visit. Knobs near falling off in the shower. cold water knob in shower is on backward. King bed was unsleepable. A loose sheet was over a large piece of foam rubber sponge. You can't figure out the cable. Every TV has 3 remotes. Wall outlets loose. chargers fall out. Cell phone signal poor, but may have just been our carrier Would never stay in any property owned by this group again. Worst vacation lodgings experience ever. ##### Anthony W. There was major roof construction ongoing during our stay. We had no notice that any work was being done during our stay. Junk, trash, debris, and dirt fell from the roof onto our balcony such that we couldn't sit outside or leave the balcony door open during our stay. I swept so much that my son remarked that they should be paying us. The same junk and materials and dirt fell into the pool below. I did not see one person use the pool the whole week. It was very gross. The construction crew workers could not have cared less about their debris assault. My son asked me to report to you that the pool "sucks." We had zero notice of this major construction (industrial equipment and vehicles and beeps, and loud booming noises from 8 to 5 every day). The ceiling noise was alarming. I imagine it will be ongoing over the summer so heads up!! The unit itself was fine, roomy enough for a family of 4\. However you may want to skip over this unit/beachdrifter property this summer as the junk, trash, and noise caused by construction appears to be an ongoing and big project. ##### Rhea B.
