This 3-bedroom home is located in Historic Springfield Jacksonville, it is on a quiet street that's minutes from many area hospitals.Springfield is an up-and-coming residential area known for its Historic District with late-19th- and early-20th-century houses, explorable via bike tours. The house has all of its original charm, gorgeous hardwood floors, and cozy character. But this house has also been completely updated where it counts, it's now a true "Modern Farmhouse" with everything you need to feel at home. You'll find three bedrooms and two bathrooms; the third bedroom is separated from the other two bedrooms so everyone can have their own space. There's also an enormous, fully stocked kitchen so you can cook up whatever your heart desires. Perry Street is quiet so you can sit on the front porch at night and watch the sunset or walk to Main Street to enjoy part of an emerging craft brewery scene or one of the many restaurants within a mile of the house. Notes on Revitalization and Regentrification Processes: The city of Jacksonville is rapidly changing, when a city goes through these processes it means that many families that have been there for a very long time cannot keep up with the changes. In some cases these people get dIsplaced and in other cases they do the best that they can. The house next door to 1843 Perry Street is one of these houses. This home is caught in a probate situation and the family that owns it right now cannot afford to fix it until the probate situation is resolved. Please do not be fooled by the look of this home.
