It is within walking distance of the Ritz Carlton Hotel via either the beach or a shaded sidewalk. Within a mile or two, there is a Harris Teeter grocery store and several great restaurants such as Pogo’s, Lagniappe, and Marche Burette. The Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort and Ritz Carlton are also close by – you can access many of their amenities such as restaurants, the “Shops at Amelia Island Plantation,” the Ritz spa, and the Omni’s marsh front golf course even though the Surf & Racquet Club has no affiliation with them. North of the Amelia Surf & Racquet Club, you will find Main Beach which features the Salt Life and Sandbar Kitchen restaurants, a playground, and beachside putt putt golf. From there, Amelia Island\`s downtown historic district is just a short drive down Atlantic Avenue. There you will find plenty of wonderful restaurants, shopping, nightlife, and local culture. Fort Clinch State Park is also located along Atlantic Avenue. The park features the 19th century Fort Clinch (still open to the public for tours), a great beach, and lots of beautiful trails for hiking or biking. Amelia Island State Park and the Big & Little Talbot State Parks are all located to the south of Amelia Surf & Racquet Club. Boneyard Beach in Big Talbot State Park is extremely unique and worth a trip. The oceanfront Kelly’s Seahorse Ranch is located adjacent to Amelia Island State Park and offers guided beach horseback rides. Getting Around: • Amelia Island is a small area and is easy to navigate! There is free parking available throughout the entire island, making driving very easy to any place you choose to visit. • Although Uber/Lyft are not very reliable on the island (we strongly recommend bringing a car), they are available through the app on your smartphone. • Bike rentals are available at \`The Beach Store\`. Riptide Watersports also delivers bikes and other beach gear. Other Information: • Guests will have full access to all common areas of the Surf & Racquet Club, including the two pools, multiple barbeque areas, four tennis courts, and two beach walkovers. • Thoughtfully appointed with your comfort in mind, the condo is outfitted with an iron and ironing board, luggage rack, hair dryer, beach towels, and a well-stocked kitchen. • Parking: This condo has two parking spaces in the gated Surf & Racquet Club parking lot. • Guest Access: Self check-in via a coded smart lock. • Per the Amelia Surf & Racquet Club rules, pets are prohibited on the entire property. Amelia Surf and Racquet – B150 • Check-in: After 4:00 PM – Please do not arrive prior to the check in time without prior approval. • Checkout: 11:00 AM • Self check-in with keypad. • No smoking or drug use on the property • Only registered guests staying at the property are allowed on the premises - Max. 4 guests • No parties, weddings or events of any kind • No pets allowed – No exceptions, immediate eviction without a refund if a pet is in the unit. • Quiet hours for the building are 10pm-10am. Check In: Check-in is 4:00pm. We do our best to have your accommodations available by this time. Peak times and holidays are especially difficult, so please understand we are working hard to have your unit available as soon as possible. We cannot make refunds for a delayed check-in time. Do not leave dirty dishes in unit. 4) Leave all furniture arranged as originally found. 5) Check all drawers and closets for personal items. Disconnect from any streaming accounts. 6) Clean out all refrigerators and freezers. 7) Lock all windows and doors. CLOSE ALL BLINDS. 8) Set thermostat to a seasonably appropriate temperature and leave ceiling fans running. 9) Lock all doors behind you. Property inspections will be made after check-out. There will be a charge if the above procedures are not followed or any damage is found. Furnishings: Basic equipment and furnishings for a comfortable vacation are provided. If you move furniture while occupying the property, you must return furniture to its original position prior to departure. Do not remove furniture (including patio furniture) from the property. Property Descriptions: Rates, descriptions, bed sizes, inventories, and furnishings are subject to change without notice. Neither the rental agent nor the owner will be obligated to provide replacements or give refunds for failure or absence of any items. Pool Rules (from the Condo Association): \- Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. \- WARNING: NO LIFEGUARDS ON DUTY. SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK. \- Shower before entering the pool. \- Bathing suits only. \- Children under 12 MUST be accompanied by an adult. \- No diving. \- Capacity is 19 people at one time. \- No food or drink in pool or on pool deck. \- No animals in pool or on pool deck. \- No glass in pool or on pool deck. \- Emergency assistance: call 911. \- Do not remove any pool furniture from the decks. \- Do not drink the pool water. \- No babies with diapers in the pool. Linens/Towels & Supplies: A limited number of bath, beach, and kitchen towels are provided. With the exception of beach towels (returned to unit upon use), no towels are to be removed from the unit. A starter supply of paper products and soap will be supplied in your unit. You will be responsible for additional supplies during your stay. Maximum Occupancy: The MAXIMUM number of overnight guests is determined based on the unit size and is listed in the listing details. At any time, no more than the listed maximum number of guests may be in the home unless prior approval is provided. Additional charges may apply. Age Requirement: The person reserving the unit must be a minimum of 25 years of age and must occupy the property the entire length of the reservation. Events: Guests are not permitted to hold events at the house. An event is defined as any gathering of people over the maximum occupancy of the unit(s) you are renting. The condo was just as shown in the photos. The views and short walk to the beach was awesome. The communication with the property owners was great. I was there for a wedding and the location was convenient to everything I was doing. The condo had everything I needed for the week, including a beautiful view of the ocean. The host even brought a beach umbrella when I asked about renting one. It was just like the pictures - beautiful, clean, and well maintained. ##### Stephanie C.
