Amazing Beach Retreat "Oceanwalk"

Off the beaten path, our Ocean View Beach House is designed to give you an unforgettable and relaxing experience. Located in Fernandina Beach on Amelia Island, this home provides guests privacy on one of the quietest beach communities on the island. This historical beach neighborhood is the place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the ocean and its white sands. Only a 10 minute drive to restaurants, bars and night life.

Just a 3 minute walk to the beach, this magnificent 3 bedroom and 3 bathroom beach house truly offers all the comforts of home and then some. The open floor plan, with ceramic tile floors throughout, includes a fully equipped modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a large bar height granite counter top that seats 5 for dining, a large open living room and dining area seating 4 is adjacent to the kitchen and outdoor living space. The property is pet friendly and pets are allowed on the beach.
The house offers plenty of opportunity to enjoy the beautiful scenery on a large veranda with an unobstructed view of the ocean. The veranda offers a roomy sitting area for outdoor entertaining with family and friends or for just relaxing and enjoying the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Outdoor dining areas seats 6 and features an outdoor grill.
Our luxury unit sleeps eight. The master bedroom features a king-size bed with a pillow-top mattress, a 40" HDTV that you can enjoy watching as you are having breakfast in bed, and a private bath. The second bedroom has a queen size bed with a pillow-top mattress. The third bedroom has two twin XL beds. The second and third bedrooms are adjacent to a full bath. There is a separate sitting area with a sofa that converts to a comfortable queen size bed. The area has a full bath that includes a large walk-in shower, and a washer and dryer.
The home is equipped with everything you need for a perfect vacation. The home has Comcast Cable, free Wi-Fi for guests, a 55" HDTV and a soundbar. The soundbar is compatible for use with I-pad or I-phone.
From the beach, you are a short walk or bike ride to the Omni Spa and Shop, the world-renowned Ritz Carlton and within minutes from several golf courses. Take a short drive and enjoy historical downtown Fernandina. There is plenty of natural beauty to enjoy, as well. Hike the canopied trails of Fort Clinch, explore the marsh ecosystem and Big and Little Talbot Island or paddle the creeks in a kayak.
Whether you are relaxing at the beach or taking a stroll down the Historic District of Fernandina or just enjoying the island's many fine restaurants, be sure you make Ocean Walk your vacation destination!

Great location with easy beach access

The house was perfect for our group. Great kitchen for group cooking and the deck provided meals with a view. The bed flexibility of 2 twins or a king, plus a king and queen is great. We loved the short walk to the beach and even though there is public beach access close by the beach was not crowded.

Wonderful beach vacation

Four of us (2 couples 65) enjoyed four nights here very recently. There is MUCH I have to say but the new VRBO review box is ridiculously frustrating to use. So I can’t. Have to be uber brief. Can only say the house is nice and across the street from America Beach which is like 8 miles long, great for walks, photographing birds and/or collecting seashells.

Great place with all the comforts of home! Nicely appointed decor. Very spacious home and great for entertaining if you have a large family. Very short walk to the beach. We loved our stay and would return next year. The host was very responsive to all our needs. It was a pleasure to stay.

Fantastic!!!

Our whole family (teens and dogs included!) LOVED our stay at Oceanwalk! The house was even better than we expected. We had plenty of space, everything was clean and easy, the kitchen had more than enough for us to cook great meals, and the beach was SO close! We will definitely be staying here again!!!

The perfect beach house

We’ve stayed at a few places in fernandina. This was definitely our favorite. The home was much bigger and more open than other homes we’ve stayed in. We loved that we were able to bring our dogs along for the trip and didn’t have to leave them at home. We also brought our 2 year old son. The proximity to the beach was perfect for a toddler. We will certainly be back.

Another wonderful stay

My family has been coming to this property for several vacations - This was trip #4. We were actually shocked to see the previous review stating all types of issues. The house was clean and well equipped with everything you could need. We can see that the owners take pride on the overall appearance. They have been very accomodating and responsive to our needs. This property is a relaxing and quiet atmosphere to escape our daily grind. Love being so close to the beach. We highly recommend this property and know we will be back for #5 soon!

Great Beach Stay

We really enjoyed this property. A short walk to the boardwalk to the beach. House was comfortable, clean and cool (AC worked great). Patio table was our meeting place in the late afternoon, good shade and a great view of the ocean. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely location across from the beach

Our family enjoyed a few days here and had a great time. We had enough space and fixed a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner. The kids enjoyed walking to the beach and playing. The home was very clean and comfortable for our family.

Great beach getaway

Lovely beach house, well equipped and maintained, across the street from beach access. Quiet road, little traffic. At American Beach with interesting history as a resort for Black Americans in the days of legal segregation.
