Enjoy your private resort-style vacation at this oceanfront four bedroom, three bath 2400 sq ft cottage. Begin the day enjoying the sunrise from the third floor private master suite balcony or second floor living quarters deck and end your evening watching and listening to the ocean while enjoying a tropical breeze with ambient torch lit LED landscape torch lighting. This home is fully equipped to take care of all your needs. The cottage exterior gives way to a transitional eclectic style interior setting.The unique modern weathered-look plank flooring blends transitional modern with traditional elements. The third floor master suite has a king size bed with a private living area that has a trundle daybed with Tempur-pedic style mattresses. The on-suite master bath and shower has a separate slate shower with skylight and separate garden style tub. Four TVs with Xfinity cable and high speed internet are throughout the house. An Amazon Alexa system provides information as well as all genres of music entertainment. The ground floor offers a private suite with king size bed, a private living, kitchenette and bathroom. The suite has an additional Tempur-pedic style mattress that may be used as an extra long twin or king bed for additional guests. The suite is accessed at the street level with independent entry/exit and does not share any entrance or connection to the main living area. The main floor provides an open living, dining and kitchen floor plan with granite countertops. Ocean views can be seen from all oceanfront and northern facing windows. The main floor has two bedrooms, one with a queen bed, crib and toddler equipment, the other with a full. The oceanfront yard is fenced in with a sand box to allow for children to play and to accommodate those special family pet members that do not want to be left behind. The oceanfront yard is not accessible from the main living balcony - you must walk through the garage to access. The fire pit is unfortunately unavailable for guest use due to insurance/liability restrictions. The entire front and rear yards are lit during the night with LED lighting to enjoy the beautiful variety of palms and landscaping that surround the property. An "egg style" grill allows for family BBQs and entertaining. Vacant land is located north side of the property giving you privacy and seclusion from that side. A tropical oasis style setting make for the perfect family vacation getaway. Pelican Landing rents weekly from Saturday to Saturday. Note for Guests booking after April 13, 2025. Houses are under construction on the two lots on the left of Pelican Landing, when facing it from the street. We have just been made aware of this when the construction actually started on April 14, 2025\. We are trying to get as much information as possible from Nassau County and we will share all we discover. We do not know an estimated completion date. Great owners. First glance everything looked just as pictured. Place was generally clean but in our opinion could have been cleaner. Seemed like whomever cleaned just did minimal things. AC wasn't working properly upstairs BUT the maintenance manager Joe was awesome to work with! Very kind and stayed on top of it to provide a solution. Owners were also very kind about the issues we had experienced. Honestly probably the first time we stayed somewhere that the owners and manager cared as much as they did. Would 100% recommend this property. They had beach chairs, an EZ Up, couple umbrellas, boogie boards, etc for the beach. Lots of baby items included. Unfortunately, this year the property showed more wear and lacked the level of maintenance we expected, especially at this price point. Several issues added up: a broken dryer handle, a leaking coffee maker, a tub handle that came off, a missing fan remote, and exposed screws on the back deck door that could be a safety concern. The upstairs fridge was too small for a large group, and a few fixtures (like a bench and toilet paper holder) were damaged.None of these ruined the trip, but the overall condition felt overlooked. With a little upkeep and attention, this home could return to the high standard it once had. ##### Danny J. Convenient boardwalk to use and it's a nice spot on the beach. There are locals that will park cars on "your beach" but there was still plenty of space for us to not feel crowded.House is well appointed with linens, lots of towels (beach and regular) they had a nice stock of paper products as well, a rare treat with a vacation rental!There is some construction going on next door currently but it wasn't disruptive, and the loud parts should be done within a couple weeks of this review.Washer/dryer worked great and was a blessing!They had dehumidifiers in several areas so humidity wasn't a problem at all, even in August. Lower unit has it's own mini-split and upper Master Suite has it's own AC, if you follow the suggestions posted on the thermostats you should have a comfortable stay.The lower unit worked great for a "grandparents quarters" they have their own kitchenette and space. Kitchenette needs to borrow utensils from upstairs, but that may just be from the supplies migrating upstairs over the years. It has it's own coffee pot and as noted separate AC and thermostat.Tons of beach gear in the garage, several inflatables and several boogie board/slick boards to use as well as at least 5 or 6 beach chairs, all in good condition yet. Communication is top notch. We had a couple needs during our stay and they were promptly resolved. Owner/host genuinely wants to make sure you enjoy your visit.Would stay again. ##### Jared B.
