Step into the lovely condo 1321 Shipwatch, and feel the worries of the world melting away. This 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom property is beautifully appointed, recently updated, and tucked into the oceanfront Shipwatch complex in the award-winning, gated Omni Amelia Island Resort on the south end of Amelia Island. Come enjoy a romantic getaway, a golf weekend, or just a quiet retreat on the beach!
If you're planning to dine in, guests can easily whip up snacks or cook their meals in the fully-equipped kitchen featuring stainless steel appliances. Seating options include a high-top counter with two chairs facing the kitchen and an elegant dining table for four. The living area offers stylish, comfortable furnishings for delving into your latest novel or watching your favorite TV programming. High-speed Wi-Fi is included for the modern traveller.
When it's time to rest, the bedroom has all the comforts of home — a king bed, a flat-screen TV, a large dresser for unpacking your belongings, a spacious closet, and a full bathroom. While this Shipwatch condo does not offer ocean views or any private outdoor living space like a balcony, it offers one of the easiest locations within the complex for accessing the Shipwatch amenities.
Guests enjoy access to amenities like the spacious Shipwatch complex pool that is just a short walk away. This beautiful pool is heated during parts of the year and offers a large deck for finding shade. There is a community grilling area, picnic tables, and a bike rack available for guests as well.
Guests can also enjoy Omni Amelia Island Resort's many walking and biking trails, plus the resort spa, shops, and dining options. Golf is available at many local courses, including Oak Marsh and Little Sandy within the resort.
Please be advised that this property is not a rental through Omni Amelia Island Resort, formerly known as the Amelia Island Plantation. It is privately owned and managed, and does not offer access to the main Omni hotel pool, fitness center and shuttle service. The Racquet Park tennis center is restricted to Club members and their guests unless you are scheduling lessons or registered for a clinic. We will gladly answer any questions about area activities and our amenities.

The property was very clean and organized. The pool and beach were close by which was awesome.
Just an FYI, the condo did have a musty/mildew type smell. It would have also been nice to have upgraded beach chairs and an umbrella.
Other than those few things we would definitely come back.

Unit access in Building and getting to swimming pool area and beach not suitable for someone partially disabled.
Location was great for visiting local residents, which was purpose of trip.

Our first trip to this most beautiful place ! I could not have picked a more perfect place to stay . The Shipwatch Villas are beautiful and could not be better . The location is amazing ! The Omni Resort property is spectacular. Highly recommend!

Love Amelia Island.
I have to say this is a very beautiful property inside and out. The location is a bit south of the main town, but worth it. Even for a 4th of July holiday weekend it was extremely quiet. Only two things I would recommend for the owner. 1. Purchase a parking slot for the Apt if you can, parking in the street sucks. 2. Since we are not allowed to lower the temp of the AC below 72 and there are no ceiling fans, 72 still feels extremely hot at night with no air flow. Providing a fan or two would be helpful.

Great for a short trip
The condo was nice and clean. If you’re looking for a balcony or ocean view, skip this condo. We were ok with that on this short trip. My only complaint is that the mattress in the sleeper sofa was disgusting. It smelled bad and was extremely lumpy/warped so we just closed it right back up. So, if you’re counting the sleeper sofa as a place for someone to sleep, you’ll be very disappointed. It is not close to adequate for someone to sleep on. Other than that, we enjoyed our trip.
