Mountain Town Guest House Located Near National Parks and Ski & Summer Resorts

Nestled inside our PRIVATE former horse pasture and now featuring a waterfowl pond is our beautiful guest house.

Our guest house is a fully furnished 400 SQ. foot tiny home with full-size appliances, private bedroom, loft, living room including a full bathroom with bathtub and shower. The private bedroom on the main floor features a full bed with a closet. The loft area is open to the living and kitchen area with queen accommodations and a reading/sitting area. Our living area faces west for lovely sunset views, electric fireplace, flat screen TV/DVD player, and includes Direct TV. The property also has access to WiFi. The kitchen is fully functional to either cook a beautiful meal at home or to sit back and relax after a meal in town. If you don't feel like cooking indoors, we have provided a gas BBQ grill and outdoor covered sitting area on the upper deck, while the sunny lower deck features two outdoor lounge chairs and sitting area for lounging or visiting about your day. Our place is an ideal couples retreat and great location to explore Eastern Idaho and Western Wyoming during any season. Our own domestic critters include geese (the three stooges), ducks, peacocks, a few cats and "Jack" our Border Collie for a bit of entertainment.

Heading outside, views from the front decks face west to the Big Hole mountains for beautiful sunsets with milkshakes or cocktails in hand. Grand Targhee to the northeast, the winter ski, and summer mountain bike resort, can also be viewed from the decks. We are centrally located from the towns of Driggs (3 miles) and Victor (7 miles) for shopping and a plethora of dining experiences while Grand Targhee is a mere 9 miles away. Even though we are close to local features, we are set in a laid back rural area of the valley which offers peace and quiet for those days or evenings when you just want to wind down. Numerous bike trails, hiking, golfing, fishing or a nice float on the Teton River are minutes away for summer users. In the winter season, skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and other winter sports are abundant. We are a hop skip and a jump to Jackson Hole Wyoming, Grand Teton National Park, as well as Yellowstone National Park.

This tiny house was at a great location. Just far off the major road to give you that quiet farm feel, but just minutes to town by car to grab food. The peacocks are a nice addition to the stay and although a little noisy during the day, they are quiet at night while you sleep.

Perfect location, close enough to the national parks and Jackson Hole. The birds and ducks on the property are friends and so are the horses across the street. Liked how secluded it was.

Joann is easy to work with. She is attentive to questions. The place is clean and nice. Driggs is a cute town and great places to eat. Reasonable distance to Jackson and a beautiful drive to get there.

A beautiful location, enjoyed seeing the sun rise and set over the mountains. The peacocks are morning birds so no need to set an alarm. Did not realize the peacocks would be roaming the property. Also the loft was crawling room only. Overall we enjoyed our stay the house was clean and it was easy to find things in there.

The cabin was small and comfortable. All basic necessities were there: kitchen, washer/dryer, etc. Only didn't know the wi-fi passkey, but I just used my phone as a hotspot for my computer. The peacocks were cute and friendly, would come right up to us. But they did like to start making noise about 6 am, lol, so hope you are an early riser. Overall, we had a good experience.

Located in a very nice area. Very clean. The only negative was the loft. It was very hard for a senior citizen to crawl from the steps to the bed, It should be noted in the description of the property that crawling is a necessity.

I loved our 6-day stay here! It was very relaxing to sit on the front porch and watch the peacocks. The house was clean and lovely and had everything we needed. Note that the stairs to the loft are a bit steep and you do need to crawl on hands and knees to the bed up there. The only disappointment was that the washer/dryer combo was waiting for parts to be repaired, so we had to use a laundromat in Driggs, since we had packed lightly for our trip, assuming we would be able to do laundry as needed. The house is secluded, but is directly across from another tiny house, although there are several trees between the two to enhance privacy. I would definitely stay here again, it was so much better than staying in a hotel and we just adored the peacocks!

The location was very convenient to stores/food in Driggs. The tiny home was adorable and perfect for 2. I dont know that I would want more than 2 in there. The dryer was broken at the time of my visit which sucked being I was on a 28 day vacation and seeked out homes that had washer/dryers. We did have some trouble a couple nights with direct tv not getting signal. The property is as described in listing but just to be transparent.. there are lots of peacocks and geese on property, one peacock roost on the porch which in turn poops on the porch and looses feathers. It’s quite the mess when you wake up. The property also has lots of poop all in the yard. You have a cut walkway about 30/40 steps to the front door you have to bring all of your luggage from. The grass all around house except the path is very tall. Also, in the pictures it looks like you’re private, while there is another tiny home in front of you and the main house is also very close. There are trees between but you definitely still see them. I honestly would stay here again, there are a few negatives but not enough to not enjoy the stay.

Our family had an amazing stay in this tiny oasis. Our boys (4 and 8) loved the loft and the peacocks. The house has everything you need and more and they utilize the space so well. We spent a day exploring Driggs and Grand Targhee, there are plenty of trials and the views are phenomenal. The property is about 2 hours from the West and South entrances of Yellowstone so we could easily make a day trip their as well. Everything you may need/want is available in Driggs and we felt like we could have just stayed and enjoyed the things the nearby towns had to offer as well. We are so happy we found this place!

Enjoyed the house and surrounding area. Everything in the house was like new and exceeded our expectations (how did they make such a tiny house feel so big?). It was a nice treat watching the variety of pets and animals in the area. Made us feel welcomed. Great location if you love the outdoors and country atmosphere. Would stay here again if we are in the area.

This was a nice place to stay away from the crowds in Jackson Hole. The Tiny House was sufficient for our stay… the only thing we missed in the kitchen was a pitcher to make some juice -would have been nice ! You do have to be very careful when you walk outside or to your vehicle because there is a lot of peacock poop- that was a little annoying , but we did enjoy our stay and had a really nice time at the Tiny House ! Thanks Jane
