Had a great 2 night stay at the Howey. Located in the perfect pert of Melbourne, shopping, events and restaurants are all so close by. Hotel atmosphere and style was very cool and a great cafe in the lobby for a coffee and a quick bite. Would stay again and again. -Andy Karl

New property. Room was unique. Heavy focus on natural materials. Oddly, the lobby had an essential oil or candle that was releasing an irritant that was quite irratating to the lungs. Online the descriptions have it as “hypoallergenic”, but with pets allowed and the peculiar lobby issue, I think those with asthma or allergy issues should avoid.

Amazing room with lots of amenities and free Netflix. Staff were super nice. Hotel central and good value for money. Perhaps a little more focus on fresher breakfast chia etc. but overall excellent. Well done

"Good location for MCEC but on the CBD side of the river. One star off for the $100 AUD per night "deposit" which seems to be becoming the new standard...some poor couple checking in next to me were having to fork over $500 to be allowed to stay in the room they'd already paid for!"
