"A few miles outside Cuenca, this was a surprise on the plus side for us as it is in a secluded area with grapevines in front and lots of mature trees Super private. No need to stay in Cuenca as it is a short drive in the morning to get to the hanging houses if Cuenca. The main lounge has a woodburning fireplace which greeted us upon our arrival. "From the reviews, this looks like a great place. Reviews can be misleading! No doubt, the security is excellent with fingerprint access only to the hotel - which is great once you are checked in. But BANG LOUDLY on the gate when you first arrive otherwise you'll be sleeping in the car park. The rooms are very small and extremely cheaply furnished.Everything in the room is minimalist, one towel each, soap not refilled on service, trash only cleared if you ask.
