Comfortable Base

Well equipped and spacious apartment in quiet village that we used to visit San Sebastion, Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao and the old part of Durango.

Spacious condo in the countryside

We spent a lovely four nights here. The condo was on an upper floor, with plenty of parking at the side of the building. We used supermarkets in Durango (5-10 min drive away) for groceries. It was easy to drive into Durango and take the train to Bilbao for the day too. The kitchen had the basic things you might need (small oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, coffee machine, washer, dishwasher, but no kettle?) and the shower was pleasingly powerful. The air con was very welcome in the sticky July heat. The tv has basic channels but that might be us not working out how to use the cable. Thank you for a lovely start to our Spain-France road trip.

Great place to stay with family

We had a family of six stay here for a week while we travelled various places in the Basque country. Iker, the host, was very responsive and helpful and we would stay here again if we return to the area.

Nice place to be your base to see NE Spain

Nice village, close to areas we wanted to visit. Only issue for us was finding restaurants that had parking, were open, and did not allow smoking inside. But a good choice for us!!

Fabulous experience

This home was even better than expected. Iker was a fabulous host—communication was easy with google translate, and Iker was always so quick to respond. The house was updated, spotless, and we loved walking the neighborhood—it was full of beautiful landscapes and homes. It was conveniently located right next to a gas station with food. I cannot recommend this home enough. I wish I could live there! 10/10!
