Entrance to the St. John's cathedral ruins and the citadel is less than 50 yards up the hill from the house, and continuing over the hill brings you directly into town with restaurants, shops, the Saturday market (a-must visit) and the small, but terrific Ephesus museum. "This was by far the best stay we had over 2 weeks in Turkey and one of the best house rentals we've had. The house was beautifully designed and spacious for our family of 4; the air conditioning worked very well despite afternoon temps in the high 90s; and the location was perfect for visiting Ephesus. The manager also kindly arranged a taxi for us to and from Sirince so we could do some evening wine tasting there. It was a terrific place to stay. "
