Wadadli Lodge is in a great location to explore Devon and the surrounding area, plenty of activities to get involved with. Dartmoor is also just a walk away from the property.
Tucked away down a very quiet road, it's a great place to escape for a week.
Pool was a great size, and also very private.
Hosts were great and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay, and were happy to provide advice for the local area.

We liked the lodge, and the younger members of our group liked the pool.
We liked the lodge, and the younger members of our group liked the pool. Obviously due to the Covid 19 issues things were not as they would usually be, e.g. local amenities and attractions were somewhat reduced / restricted. The pub in Bittaford was within walking distance but Ivybridge had a greater range of amenities. You really need personal transport to visit local attractions, some of which were closed or had reduced access (due to Covid) during our stay.
Comfort was acceptable but the single lounge chairs were a bit passed their best. The equipment, swimming pool, towells were good but kitchenware was not as clean as could be.

Great place to chill out with 3 generations of family.
Great place to chill out with 3 generations of family. Our grandchildren loved the pool which was used every day even on cooler days. Secluded and private with fantastic countart views from the spacious upstairs lounge we loved the light and airy feel throughout the Lodge.
Mothecombe beach is only 30 minutes drive away and well worth a visit. We loved it and the whole South Hams area.

Lovely lodge in a beautiful location although some noise from the A38 can be heard outside.
Lovely lodge in a beautiful location although some noise from the A38 can be heard outside. The bones of the Lodge are certainly there but it needs a tidy up and there are some ventilation issues with signs of mould on blinds and in the showers.
Overall comfortable enough but not and the welcome scones a lovely treat but needs some TLC, so not really able to live up to its 5* rating.

Purpose built holiday cottage very well situated for access to Dartmoor and South Devon towns.
Purpose built holiday cottage very well situated for access to Dartmoor and South Devon towns. Was a bit closer to the main road than we were expecting but that did not detract from our stay (indeed it made access to nearby towns / the moors easier). Cottage very well laid out with countryside views to the front and everything you could need for a week away, including a plate of scones awaiting us when we arrived. Lots of birdlife and a garden full of butterflies. Would definitely stay there again.
