Solar powered cottage at lake, with dock, on private 300 acre timber preserve
10/10 Excellent
"Quiet cottage in the woods, solar powered with a generator. Very peaceful and relaxing. Walk to the dock is fairly short. We brought a collapsible wagon, to tote chairs, cooler, and fishing rods , had no issues with the wagon on the trail. Highly recommend! If you are looking for peace and quiet and a place, this is your place! We will be back"
Cabin on Gaston. Fishing, hunting, relaxation in luxury.
10/10 Excellent
"The house was amazing! We loved being able to go down to a boat ramp 8 minutes away and bring our boat back to the dock of the house. I cannot brag on this stay enough. The only thing we would ever suggest adding is tie-ons for boats at the dock. We tied off to the surrounding trees. "
Kerr Lake waterfront home w/dock, just off main channel, close to town!
10/10 Excellent
"The view of the cove from the deck was great and a short walk to the deck and water. The cove was shallow but we were able to dock the pontoon. The house is a short boat ride to town. It felt like we were in the woods but actually in a neighborhood. I would stay there again. "
"This property is outstanding and Andrea is am amazing host! Communication with her during our stay was excellent, the house is just as pictured and more and the dock/beach area is awesome! Be sure to bring your S'mores sticks and if you have any other needs while there, Buchanan's General Store just up the road is an amazing place to go for everything - even delicious ice cream!! A great choice of properties!PS: Don't forget the worms! Although small, the fish are abundant and hungry!! PSS: Rental of the golf cart is highly recommended as it is a somewhat long distance to the lake. "
