I had put a good review before but wish i could take it off now, the reception staff are the worst very rude. Never using this hotel again, kettle never worked. When you call reception for anything be prepared to call back 190 times. No cleaners to clean your room and no fresh towels. I wouldnt recommend this place not worth it try and avoid

Normaly when u booking by expedia they are giving cheapest or popr floor like under ground floor to yr. Customer with out air condition in coridor with disaster smooking & vip smale , day by day quality decrasing alot.

I enjoyed my stay. Overall the hotel is comfortably an quiet. Breakfast is lovely but it would be even better to have different options each day. Staffs sre helpful.

I’m a regular visitor to this hotel. Affordable price for good quality. Staff is very welcoming and helpful. A big thank you to Arpaslan, hazarbey & all other staff members that I don’t know the name, but I appreciate the respectful communication- the brasserie staff as well. I will definitely come back.

they didn't clean my room even i had asked during 2 days to clean my room during my stay 3 dingts, there was no hot water on my last day, there was not working air conditioner, room 403 there was problems with internet, WiFi, I asked room service to give me wine bottle-opener, they didn't give me, telling that they have only one bottle-opener and can not give it to me, I all the time stay in Cityloft 161 during my business trips last 4 years, it was my last stay,

Worth every penny
This is my third time using this hotel and I can tell you its a very clean hotel, professional staff and great value for your money, rooms are very spacious and location is nice and quiet in a clean neighborhood.

Even though it says parking is available, parking is very limited and it’s off the street. The Wi-Fi im was very weak, on and off all day and night. Breakfast is 200 TL. Other than that the hotel is clean and has a big kitchen area with microwave, fridge and sofa. So it’s good if you staying longer and bringing in food. The only thing, I didn’t like about the room, the bed is to low to the ground, the small toilet area and the TV facing away from bed and into the living room.

The staff are rude, unhelpful and unqualified for what they are doing. Be aware that the entrance has 10 stairs with no ramp and no one will assist you with your bags. There is no wifi coverage and no safes in some of the rooms. Toilet and bathrooms are impractical and lack privacy, with insufficient space to hang your clothes or towels. I had to request coat hangers 6 times before finally receiving some. The receptionist named Emre was rude when I reported a broken safe in our room. He looked at his colleague and smirked. It took 3 more requests before they finally sent someone to fix it. I had to call Expedia 5 times to get the internet fixed. The hotel refused to take responsibility and instead blamed my computers for not being able to connect. They lied about the situation to Expedia. I refuse to spend any more time in this iplace. I left on day 3 of my 8 day stay. When I tried to check out early due to the unstable wifi connection, Emre’s response instead of apologizing was that we were the only ones complaining about the internet. Yet, his colleague had admitted that it was a known issue and was due to their poor router. When I asked for the manager's name, Emre said that they didn't have a manager. They have no one to answer to and can treat their guests however they want without consequences. At the end, as expected, they refused to give us a refund for our troubles. Cityloft 161 has been nothing but a headache and I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy.

Bedbugs!!!!
The stay was the worst!! our bed had bedbugs that caused us bites all over our bodies, and the only compensation we received was changing our room. Yet the cost of laundry service of two full luggages and complete new clothes cost, medicine and time wasted, let alone the pain caused by the bites cannot be compensated. We stay at this hotel at least three times a year but never again!! Highly recommend NOT staying at cityloft and ruining your vacation or the business you are coming to do in Istanbul.

The hotel was very bad, there was no help to move the luggage, there was no parking, the reception was very bad, the hygiene was very bad, the toilets were extremely dirty and smelled bad, the food was so bad that we threw away the breakfast food.

Quality accomodations at reasonable prices.
I had an excellent time staying at Cityloft 161. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. Sehri at the front desk to Muyin who does the cleaning support, I mean everyone with great. Sehri was so helpful answering all my questions and helping out getting a taxi when I could not communicate speaking Turkish. As for the room, I got the standard room. It was clean, stylish and had everything you need to be comfortable, including full size fridge, nice open balcony and a very comfortable bed. If you like coffee, they even Starbucks inside the lobby area. As for location, it's within a few minutes away from the bus, banks, restaurants etc.. I would recommend this place for it was very good for what you pay.

Great value. If you can ignore the hostel feel that you get from outside, the rooms are unexpectedly homey with nice ambiance. The beds aren't as comfortable though. The rate is usually very reasonable so nothing much to complain. The street parking can be a little painful especially late night. I've stayed at upper level rooms which has a nice view. It's worth the upgrade. I also stayed at the garden jacuzzi room which has no natural light, though very roomy and comfortable

1st class hotel
We stayed for 10 nights in a room with sea view. As soon as we walked into the room we were amazed...at the size, decor, cleanliness, and the sea view. The food is so cheap and delicious. Staff so friendly and always wanting to help. I would highly recommend this hotel ! Purely, top class.

Internet is terrible. I don’t have in the room, have to go to lobby. If you go one step from lobby again is no internet. The kitchen guys can sell you one cup of tea for if is night shift 12 turkish lira if is day shift 50 turkish lira. Lentel soup in menu is 25 lira and night shift they give exact price but day shift charge you 70 lira. Only gentleman from day shift with short cut of his hair very professional and speak English but ladies who works in front desk are very rough and they don’t speak English. I got room with jacuzzi but is out of service I was asking to fix or change room after multiple requests they changed my room after 6 days. Also in room B1 shower door is broke. We had 3 times water flood after the rain. After I changed my hotel to Residence buy Marriott in 2 blocks from CityLoft 161. Don’t take any CityLoft hotels if you need good internet.

On initial arrival into the unit, it looked great. However, the longer I was there I was finding issues. The room was not clean - dusty floors, dirty pillow cases and bed linen and long hair on the couch. The toilet flusher was about to fall off the wall when you pressed the flusher and the basin mixer was loose. Shower and toilet doors were dirty. Also, did not realize I was on a smoking floor or in I had booked a smoking room so I couldn’t breathe with the smell coming through the aircon. The hotel did not match the rating it got on the app and was so disappointed I did not stay the whole stay and checked out the next day. So disappointed and will never use hotels.com to book accommodation ever again. Terrible hotel with unfriendly staff.

The worst experience I ever had in a hotel. I Do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Rude staff, none english speaking people and the hotel in horrible condition. They overcharged me for food and airport transfer. I’ve paid double than the normal prices they have for such a service.
