One of the most southerly Scottish Isles, Arran encapsulates the grandeur and majesty of Scotland but all packaged within an accessible area 19 miles long by 10 miles wide. The island has a scattering of pretty villages on Arran’s stunning coastline which are contrasted by a rugged and mountainous interior in the north. The house had everything we n Park cottage is a lovely house, well appointed with stunning bedrooms! The house had everything we needed and the welcome bottles were a lovely touch. We really enjoyed our stay except for one thing! The lounge has no central heating and was far too cold to sit in the evening without lighting the fire. However, to heat the lounge all evening took a whole bag of logs.
