Find the Best Isla Violin Bed and Breakfast

"If you are driving: there is like an hour and a half drive on unpaved roads varying from relatively smooth to incredibly rough supposedly at other points in the year there are streams that require fording. 4x4 recommended. That being said, once you are there, the views are incredible, the rooms are beautiful, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the location is mind-blowing. The rooms are bungalows set on a very steep hill overlooking the bay. The showers (at least in the one we stayed in) had wall cut outs so at night there were various insect and reptilian visitors but whatever its more their home than mine and few made it into the living area. The restaurants nearby are fine, breakfast is included and dinner is available at the sort of clubhouse with reservation and for a fee. The location and staff and view made up for the steep climb to the room from the beach and long off road drive to the site. I would stay here again absolutely. "

"The cabina had an extra extraordinary view. We loved that the bedrooms were closed off and did have air conditioning, but that the rest of the unit was completely open The house cleaning staff did an excellent job of cleaning every morning I had laundry done, and it was very reasonably priced and done very well The unit is within walking distance to almost everything but best of all the beach is right there!"

"We chose this hotel for its close proximity to the dive shop we used . Only 11 rooms with a nice pool and lovely lush vegetation on the back side .We even saw a toucan right at the pool as well as many other birds ! The only fly in the ointment for us was our air conditioner seemed to have a mind of it's own . It did work but started running water out of the unit inside our room and right over my nightstand which soaked my phone and kindle . All good in the end !"

"Excellent comminications leading up to our stay and welcome was just as good. Lovely room with balcony area with seating nice touch Huge bathroom and shower to boot! Perfectly located to walk to the seafront for excursions and close to all the main restaurants. Breakfast ordered the day before with time slot - great start to your day!"

"Their romantic unit was wonderful. Beautiful tropical very private setting. A communal pool that we had all to ourselves. Its an outdoor kitchen that worked but could use a bit of an upgrade. Big fridge but only a 2 burner countertop gas hotplate. No oven or microwave. Good closet space and beautiful shower. Groceries and a very good soda was beside it. Some high end restuarants near by. Could walk but the road is very narrow and its very dark. Osa golf golf course 20 minutes away. Uvita 20 minutes away. Good road into it. I highly recommend this place ."

"This a beautiful property with rustic cabins. There are amazing views as it is high up. We saw many birds from our balcony including green parrots and toucans. It is quite a climb from the road, definitely not accessible, but close to Drake Bay beach, a grocery store and several restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful. We pre-arranged a tour to Corcovado National Park through the hotel and it went great. You can order breakfast the day before and have it specially prepared for you at whatever time you need it. It was very good and plentiful. Some drinks are available to purchase in the reception area where you can sit and look out over the beautiful bay. We bought a few beers and some water. Very nice place."
