Outstanding
Absolutely amazing views of the loch. Private and quiet. Everything we needed was there with local shops with easy parking. We will definitely be returning, as its easy to get to places around the loch.

Lovely Croft Stay
We had a lovely stay at this croft loctaed right off Loch Ness. It was well appointed and the host made sure we were comfortable for the entire stay. The croft is located within 30 mins of many of the major attractions in the Inverness area. We couldn't have asked for a better view of Loch Ness having our breakfast every morning!

Perfectly Lovely!
We wanted to enjoy Loch Ness away from the "city" and this location was perfect! The view from every window was breathtaking. The trail "up the mountain" gave us a spectacular view of the castle and water. We were able o walk to a restaurant for dinner as well. I have already recommended to others.

Wonderful, quaint, cosy stay
What a wonderful little cottage. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with a view of Loch Ness. The cottage is well equipped, warm and welcoming. I would recommend a stay here.

Winter wonderland by Loch Ness
We had a wonderful stay at Simon and Annie’s place. The Croft was beautiful, cozy and very well equipped for our 3 night stay. Simon was very helpful and communicative on check-in and quick to answer any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again!

The croft was DELIGHTFUL! So beautiful I can only imagine the colors in all the gardens come spring. Simon and Annie couldn't have been more gracious or accommodating. This was absolutely a 10 STAR experience.

Beautiful warm and inviting Croft overlooking Loch Ness
Annie and Simon have used imagination and great attention to detail in creating this beautiful croft; a successful fusion of contemporary open-space design along with areas - and some intriguing furnishings - that great granny would have owned. This is all set off by a very warm and genuine welcome into a vacation home that contains everything you'll need - the bedside drawer even contained some quality condoms (a first in our almost forty years of world travel together!). Heating throughout is excellent, parking is right at your front door. This croft is in the top five worldwide of any self-catering accommodation we have ever rented. Keith & Lynne-Marie

Scottish tour
Simon and Annie were the best possible hosts you could have. The Croft and bed and breakfast far exceeded our exceptions! They could not of made us more welcome and of been more accommodating. We are looking forward to returning to there beautiful home and thank them for all their advice and wonderful breakfast. We would recommend the Croft and the Bed and Breakfast to anyone who wanted the real highland experience with lovely hosts.

The Croft at Urquart Bay

Beautifully located loch view.
The owner Simon was there to meet us and showed us round he,s property. The views and facilities are as good if not better than the information and pictures on the website, and Simon recommended walks and places to visit while we were there. Hope to get back there end of year hopefully.

A beautiful place with amazing service
My partner and I had a wonderful time at the Croft, the place is beautifully situated, easy to find , very well presented and looked after. After a warm and friendly welcome from Simon we both immediately felt relaxed and were impressed with how much was provided. The property was so comfortable and even in the winter time there was plenty to see and do nearby. I can't reccomend this place enough, easily one of the best get aways I've had.

The perfect location
By far the most stunning property we’ve had for a short break. The location, cleanliness and comfort of this place is absolutely second to none, we were quite simply blown away as soon as we walked in. It has everything you could want and more from a self catering break. All the information you could possibly need on the property and surrounding area is all provided. There is also as much wood as you could ever need for the wood burner all included in the price. A big thanks to Simon & Annie for their hospitality we had an absolutely fantastic time in the most idyllic of settings.

Incredible Croft
We had a wonderful 2 night stay at this incredible Croft , I only wish it could have been longer. Everything is extremely well appointed. The space is well set out and has a welcoming feeling. The bed is comfortable and you’ll have a great night sleep and wake up to the most lovely view of Loch Ness from your window. Actually there is a view of the Loch from every window. There is a trail that runs up hill at the back of the property which gives you an amazing aerial view of Urquart Castle. Unfortunately this croft would not be suitable if you have mobility issues due to the internal stair case. The only other thing that wouldn’t go astray is a small washing machine just when you have been on the road for a while. You will love this place. Thank you Simon for being a gracious host.

Lovely Home, Setting and Location
My husband and I stayed at this lovely croft for three nights on our tour through the highlands. The natural setting and convenient location to the sights and sounds of the highlands was perfect for our desire to site-see and relax. We were able to walk to Urquhart Castle and experience some of the history of this area of Loch Ness. The Fall colors were breathtaking. My husband was able to play golf at a nearby links course. We were close enough to Inverness to have some time in a small Scottish city. Culloden Battlefield and the Clava Cairns were a 1/2 hour away. Awe inspiring. We enjoyed several dinners, in the nearby village of Drumnadrochit, at The Fiddler and Loch Ness Inn. And then there was the Croft. Situated on a lovely property on the bank of Urquhart Bay and overlooking Loch Ness with stunning views from every room. Simon and Annie provided us with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. We picked up a few necessities in the grocery store down the road but they had already provided coffee, tea and other essentials. I enjoyed sunrise coffee on the back deck while my husband slept in. Very comfy bed!!! After a long journey from Edinburgh I was delighted to have the soaking tub. Who doesn't love a long, hot bath after travel? The only regret we had was that we were'nt able to stay longer. It is definitely a place where you could settle in for a week of comfort and relaxation. I hope that we will be able to return someday and, once again, enjoy the beauty and comfort of this lovely location. A Real Gem
This rental is stunning. Perfect location for your "everything Highlands" stay. It is a short walk to Urquhart Castle and the surrounding hiking trails have breathtaking views. It is a short drive to town with great shops and a couple local pubs. Try the Food Truck in town for the best Fish Fry ever. This home is beautifully appointment, rustic luxury. Our hosts were the loveliest of people and provide some great insight into the area. We will be going back for sure. We cannot recommend them enough. There are tons of B&B's in the area, but this standalone beauty is a sheer treasure.

An amazing little property with lovely views of Loch Ness. The surrounding area was beautiful and the chickens give it a homely feel! Loved the visits from them! The property is the perfect rest stop while viewing beautiful Scotland. Annie and Simon were very helpful and are happy to advise the best places to visit. Village a short hop away with shops and places to eat. Also the history of Loch Ness that is worth a visit. I would highly recommend this peaceful little croft to stay while exploring this small part of Scotland!

Wonderful
We had a wonderful week in this cute and beautiful Croft. Everything you need, was there and the sourroundings were simply amazing. Simon gave us some recommendations for possible trips which we all did. Especially the Isle of Skye and the Plodda Falls are worth it. The Croft is a house where you can totally relax after a long day of hiking. We were sad when the time of saying goodbye had come.

Das Haus liegt wunderbar mit Blick über Loch Ness. Es ist perfekt. Alles was man braucht um einen fantastischen Urlaub zu verbringen ist da. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Umgebung ist grandios.

Splendid croft in a very nice scenery and beautiful views
The croft is very modern, very new and has all one would wish for on a short holiday break. We (family of 4) stayed for 2 nights and had a lovely stay. A lot of things to do in the Loch Ness area and Great Glen. You can sit outside on the nice terrace with nice view on garden and chicken that are roaming around. Simon and Anne did a very good job and made us feel at home.
