Waterfront cottage with kitchen and patio
Stunning Loch Ness cottage with its own private beach ! On the banks of Loch Ness this traditional stone built semi-detached foresters cottage has a real wow factor the moment you arrive. Beautifully restored two bedroomed cottage with panoramic views up and down the world famous Loch Ness. A secure fenced garden and your own private beach make this a hugely popular cottage. There is no road between the cottage and the water (unlike most other Loch Ness cottages) - zero traffic noise, incredibly quiet and peaceful. The Cottage is available all year round - including for Xmas and New Year. It does book up quickly, especially for summer, Xmas/New Year and school holidays, with such spectacular views, Loch Ness location and two private beaches - so don't leave it too long. (discounts for returning customers outside of peak season). Free unlimited broadband internet access - just bring your laptop. From 04 June 2022 to 10 September 2022 only Saturday to Saturday bookings are possible (minimum 7 nights).

From the moment you arrive you will be amazed at the beauty and setting of this unique cottage. As it is on the shore of Loch Ness, you can look out for Nessie (the Loch Ness monster) at all times of the day and during the long bright summer evenings. The cottage has a lounge/conservatory from which you can sit and watch the ever-changing loch, sunsets, wildlife and mountains. Two comfortable, well-equipped bedrooms (one twin, one double) also with stunning loch views, ensure you will sleep well in the peace and quiet of the private countryside location.

The well-appointed kitchen allows you to enjoy preparing the rich variety of local produce available at local Farmers Markets and from local producers. Inverness city is only 16 miles away (25 minute drive) and you have ample car parking space at the cottage for any number of vehicles.

The wildlife will also amaze you with dozens of birds visiting the garden bird house, regular sightings of red and sika deer, pine martens, pheasants, osprey, woodpeckers, red squirrels, bats and at night you are guaranteed to hear the occasional owl.

With Freeview TV, home entertainment, board games, CDs and DVDs you are ensured of a fun time inside or out. Fishing is allowed from either of The Cottage's private beaches (there is a shingle and a rock beach), accessible down steps from the garden. Visitors have caught brown trout & salmon. Fort Augustus is 25 minutes away with its stunning locks and restaurants. The nearby village of Foyers (2 miles away) has a post office, general store and cafe. Free unlimited broadband access - just bring your laptop. The Cottage is available all year round. It quickly books up, especially for the summer months. One quote sums it up 'This comfortable cottage is my idea of heaven.

The most beautiful views of Loch Ness from every room, we will definitely be back !' You won't be disappointed.

5/5 Excellent

Cosy & Comfortable in a Stunning Setting
A beautiful location to explore the Highlands, or to relax and just enjoy the gorgeous views across Loch Ness. A first time for us at this tranquil spot but we will definitely be back!

5/5 Excellent

Amazing location
All in all a fantastic stay at the cottage. The location is beautiful, very peaceful and it certainly has unbeatable views of Loch Ness. There’s a 20 minute or so drive to St Augustus and the journey is breathtaking along the way. (We definitely recommend the lock cruise as it was very interesting) Fort William is easily reached and has great views of Ben Nevis, especially from the visitor centre trails.
