This is the second time my husband and I have stayed on this property and it hasn't changed a bit in the two years since our first stay. It's nothing fancy, but it's quiet, comfortable, and clean. The enclosed patio was a great place for me to get some work done without losing wifi access, and we love standing/sitting on the pier and enjoying the peace. As sportmans' camps go, it had lots of amenities, and was close to whatever we wanted to do. Inverness is a great little town, small, friendly, and it has plenty of "local flavor", and interesting things to see and do, most of them involving nature or outdoor sports. We'd definitely stay there again. It's close enough to be convenient for a weekend getaway, but far enough away that you're not going to be bothered by the central Florida tourist crush. My children had fun night fishing off the dock and daily canoeing around the water way. Screen room kept the bugs away and we enjoyed having dinner in the lanai. Only issue was neighbors dog was off leash and chased my daughter while in the backyard. Scared her. The neighbor had the dogs secured the remainder of our trip.
