With it's contemporary design and warm lightings we immediately felt welcome. The directions to access the house was plain simple and straight forward. Host was very friendly, she even sent a message to me on my check in time to make sure we were able to access the house and suffice. The house had everything we needed. The location was perfect, quiet and away from the bustling city. Loved the BBQ area. We had a sunset bbq dinner under clear skies which was later lit by the many many stars. The kids loved it. We really enjoyed sitting outside and watching the antics of the birds. The interior of the house is compact, but completely efficiently laid out - there is no wasted space in the well-thought out living area, and the large windows make it very scenic as well. The kitchen is well equipped and stylish. The bedroom has nice dark curtains, so sleeping in is not a problem at all - perfect cure for jet lag. The bathroom has a big shower stall with a rainfall shower head - refreshing! Kimberley was very gracious and helpful. The lodge is well located for day trips to the north, and the town of Munlochy is conveniently nearby. My only suggestion is that if some of the tree limbs were trimmed in the front yard, it would make the view much better!! We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a quiet spot for a holiday. ##### Ann m.
