Thank you for your review. We are pleased that you enjoyed your room. We are sorry that you were angry about our pricing policy. We took the decision several yours ago to offer a choice of cooked items including a full cooked breakfast to give our guests a choice. We did not include the cost of a cooked breakfast in our pricing policy as many of our guests were vegetarians, vegans, people with high cholesterol and people who were concerned about their weight. We felt that it would be unfair for them to pay for a cooked breakfast when they did not wish one. B&Bs of similar quality in this area charge a higher price than us which reflects their including a cooked breakfast in their pricing. Even adding £4 for your bacon and eggs to our prices you would have been paying less.. Our Lifestyle Breakfast has 22 choices on it and most people are very happy with this. Others choose to spend a small additional cost for a cooked breakfast. We use the very best of products from an award winning butcher and our guests have been more than happy with this. We will continue to operate this policy in the future as the result of feedback is that our guests like to be given the choice. We hope you enjoyed your complimentary biscuits with your tea and coffees and your special Scottish fudge and all the other additional complimentary extras.

Thank you for your feedback which i find very disappointing and misleading. There are pictures of the cottage rooms on the websites and it is very difficult to book these rooms without seeing them. I couldn’t understand why your wife became rude and abusive when she saw the rooms and I did ask “ what did you expect for £39? This was a question not a statement. I have yet to hear the answer! These rooms are suitable for single occupancy, very clean, fully ensuite, own heating T.V good Wifi and comfortable, as described. I think the problem was with you and your wife not the room.
