Spacious room. Amazing staff. Staff did not recognise EXPEDIA VIP status on checkin, but rectify it immediately with an apology and a bottle of wine and a Croatian chocolate. A very nice gesture. Staff amazing, friendly, smiling. Great variety of food at breakfast which was included in the price. Coffee from the espresso machine for free! I would definitely recommend this place, and would stay there again.

It was fantastic, the hotel and staff we're brilliant. Zagreb was really nice, everyone we met was just so helpful, friendly and pleasant.People just coming up and asking if they could help, the zoo was great cabs we're cheap, tram were cheap and free WiFi throughout city was amazing. It was marvellous can't wait to go back.

Hotel Garden is a very nice hotel and I would recommend it, not far from the railway station, which was ideal for us. Whilst not right in the heart of the main tourist centre of town the public transport nearby is excellent and it is only about a 10-15 minute walk anyway. Our room was very clean and new, well presented and great shower, the staff were friendly and helpful, 24hrs reception, everyone spoke excellent English and also a small bar there, but nice and quiet and ideal.

A few km out of the city but no problem if you have a car. Large car park as it shares the site with a petrol station which has a shop and a bar. Staff very kind, helpful and friendly. Get up early for the fresh scrambled eggs and sausage!
