Very friendly staff, an incredibly helpful owner, and a beautiful beach. We felt very welcome and had a fantastic stay. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at Azura. We were warmly greeted straight from the get go by staff who were all smiling and gave clear instructions on what to expect for the week. The villa was exactly as described - clean, indoor/outdoor showers, plunge pool, and multiple sitting areas. The food for the week was wonderful - the staff was able to accommodate for my wife's dietary needs each day. For activities we rode horses in the water, snorkeled (saw eels, a small shark, and turtles), and did the sunset Dao cruise. All were wonderful with the activity directors offering friendly conversation and help as requested. The villa is the definition of relaxation - nothing cures office blues like drinks in your own slice of paradise. Would come back to this location in a heartbeat, no questions asked.

Our stay was very disappointing, especially considering the price. Overall, this hotel offers very poor value for money. The restaurant is extremely expensive, with prices comparable to those in Europe, but unfortunately the food was disappointing. We ordered both fish and meat dishes. The fish was dry with a very tough texture, and the medium-rare meat was also overcooked and dry. While the staff are friendly and clearly try their best, many appear to lack proper training. The service is very slow. For example, some did not know how to open a bottle of wine, and a few waiters had a noticeable body odour, which is unacceptable in a restaurant setting. We also found the staff unhelpful when asking about local excursions and activities. Another major issue was the Wi-Fi. Although internet access is advertised, it barely worked throughout our stay. Looking back, we regret not spending more time in the Barra/Tofo region instead of staying here. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this hotel, as we felt it offered very poor value for the price.
