Find our epic new sauna and cold plunge just steps from your cabin. Featuring a white marble shower, a cozy 55\` TV nook to stream shows, a queen bed LED lit loft. You\`re sure to find all the comforts of home in Clay Baby Cabin. Book your stay today and experience the perfect blend of luxury and nature Enjoy a modern tiny cabin experience while staying here. Clay Baby cabin is part a cluster of 6 riverfront cabins located on a gated and manicured forest paradise. You\`ll have a cozy living area with a mounted 55\` smart TV to binge your favorite shows, a kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a luxurious marble bathroom shower and two lofted beds. There is a queen loft and a tight twin loft (accessible by steep ladder and climbing rock). Clay Baby sits on a gated 5 acre property of woods and open space on the Skykomish river. Indulge in the white marble shower black slate heated floor bathroom. Create your delights in the full tiny kitchen and reward yourself by eating on the front porch swing for two. With views of the river and the granite cliffs towering over the famous town of Index you are sure to take some deep breaths and let your stresses roll away. Roast your marshmallows over your private fire pit. There are two hot tubs on the 4.5 acre property. If \`Amos\` or \`Oneill\` cabins are not booked you will have access to those riverside tubs. The new custom sauna is shared but never seems to have a line and the cold plunge on the yoga deck is a delight. Enjoy! Clay Baby Cabin, private firepit, the acre of grass field, the private forest walking trails behind The Treeframe, and The North Fork of The Skykomish river. Please text me with needs. Our gated cluster of cabins is pretty quiet but friendly! You can walk into the town of Index about .5 miles West along our gravel road. Be careful along Index/Galena road as fast cars and trucks go by. Turn right into town across the bridge. Index is located in the western foothills of the Cascade Mountains; the summit of Mount Index is located 3 miles (4.8 km) south of the town. The Index Town Walls, granite cliffs up to 500 feet (150 m) high, are located on the northern edge of the town. These walls are popularly used for rock climbing, offering a variety of high-quality cracks for this purpose. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.23 square miles (0.60 km2), all of it land. Index is located on the North Fork Skykomish River, just above its confluence with the main channel of the Skykomish River. The Skykomish River\`s Sunset Falls, a nearly 300-foot-long (91 m) granite chute that drops some 100 feet (30 m), is located approximately 1 mile (1.6 km) from the town (on the South Fork Skykomish River).\[citation needed\] In December 1980, the Skykomish River flooded the town and destroyed eight homes. The town is located 1 mile (1.6 km) north of US Highway 2, approximately 25 miles (40 km) west of Stevens Pass. The BNSF railroad, formerly the Great Northern Railway, runs through the middle of the town. Index was once an important stop for the mining (particularly Monte Cristo and Galena) and timber activities north of its location. Please park in the two gravel spots that lead to the small gray tiny cabin. We now offer grocery service! Please send us your list to have your fridge and pantry stocked. Please bring your own firewood. Clay Baby Cabin is on a riverfront gated 5 acre property with 5 other small cabins. Portions of every stay go monthly to: The Sierra Club Forterra The Washington Trails Association The Index Historical Society and The Heybrook Trail Shoes off please 2 car maximum on property. Any additional guest invited onto the property must be announced and cleared by the host. $100/person per day or night will be enforced along with a $100 pet fee if a pet is brought on. Early check in or late check out can be arranged.
