The best time to visit Ilganii De Sus is during the late spring (May to early June) and early autumn (September to early October) when the weather is pleasant for outdoor activities. The main reason to visit Ilganii De Sus is to experience the Danube Delta, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its extensive wetlands and birdlife. During these shoulder seasons, the temperatures are comfortable, typically ranging from 18°C to 25°C, making boat trips and wildlife spotting more enjoyable without the intense heat of summer. You'll find fewer crowds compared to the peak summer months, which allows for a more tranquil experience.Couples looking for a peaceful escape will appreciate the romantic boat excursions through the delta's narrow canals, often lined with reeds and water lilies. The milder weather makes evenings superb for dining al fresco at guesthouses, enjoying local fish dishes, and watching the sunset over the water. Birdwatching is particularly good in spring as migratory birds return and in autumn as they prepare to leave.Families travelling with children will also find these times ideal. The less extreme temperatures are more comfortable for younger travellers during boat trips and gentle walks. Many guesthouses offer activities like fishing or kayaking, which are more pleasant in the spring and autumn sunshine.
