Woolacombe (4.5 miles) offers 3 miles of golden sands and is in the top 10 best places in the world for surfing, also great for swimming, paddle boarding and other watersports. With a great choice of local shops and eateries to choose from or Britain's favourite food, fish and chips on a bench watching the spectacular sunsets. Walking enthusiasts are spoilt for choice in this area of outstanding beauty and only 15 miles from Exmoor National Park where the Exmoor ponies roam free.
