A Quiet Stay in the Trees

My sister and I and our two dogs stayed here and had a really nice time. The home is very clean and nicely appointed. The neighborhood is quiet. We especially liked the large, fenced-in yard for our dogs. We would definitely recommend this place to others,

Very Cozy Cabin

We stayed here a couple of days for our Anniversary. Very nicely decorated and quiet location. The king size bed was very firm and comfortable. It was nice having a fenced in side yard for our dogs. Kitchen was updated and well appointed.

Idyllic setting

The cottage was lovely and the furnishings were comfortable and attractive. The area is beautiful and we enjoyed our walks among the trees. We prepared our meals at the cottage and the kitchen is well appointed with a beautiful stove. The dishes are a charming pattern. It was a very relaxing stay at Fox Cottage.

Wife and I had a very nice stay. Great accommodations and location. Very comfortable and cozy. Kitchen is very well stocked. Master bed was great. Bathrooms very functional and clean. Lots of attention to detail to make you feel at home. Quiet neighborhood.

Big Place in a Small Space

Cabin was spotless upon arrival. Everything seemed to be new. We were impressed with the space utilization. Two bedrooms/two bath in a small footprint but we never felt crowded. Full size shower and three TVs are added bonuses. Front patio was a good place to chill with our dog and enjoy a cocktail. Cafe Aroma just 1/2 mile away serves delicious dinners. I hope we’re able to return in the cooler months for a different experience.

Family Weekend Runaway

My mother, sister, and I have been escaping to Idyllwild for the last 50 years and this place was the perfect getaway! The cottage was so comfortable and was set up to be so accommodating, away from the busy-ness of town, but close enough to everything we wanted to do and see. The provisions exceeded our needs and the setting was quiet and so very beautiful! The hosts thought of every possible detail in setting up this lovely home. We highly recommend a visit to this Charming Fox Cottage to anyone who wants a quiet and relaxing getaway from home. You won’t regret it!

Quiet, comfortable, cute cottage in the pines

The Fox Cottage was perfect for a get-away in Idyllwild. The kitchen was well appointed with everything needed to prepare meals. It was nice to have both a drip coffee maker and a Keurig. The bedrooms were comfy and the bedding was perfect for the chilly nights. The fireplace was a nice edition, although we didn't use it. The room heaters were easy to work and provided comfortable temperatures throughout our stay. The living room was a nice size with a comfortable couch & chair, along with a dining table that could seat 4-5 people. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Lovely little cabin

This cabin was so perfect for our Mother/Daughter weekend get away! Super cute decor and very clean. The set up is nice because we each had our own bedroom and bathroom. Great for a besties getaway or mother daughter like we did or similar; even a small family… There’s a sofa and a chair, so it might be a squeeze for two couples. But do-able :-) it’s super close to the village center and easy to get to. The host was very helpful and made themselves available to us for any of our needs. We loved it! Definitely recommend.

Relaxing get away

The cabin is very charming, well equipped and decorated. The area was gorgeous of coarse. They were however a couple things that would have made the visit more enjoyable. The bedding was laundered with extremely strong smelling detergent/softener. You might keep in mind that some people are sensitive to the smell and allergic! Maybe consider using free and clear detergent. Also I was looking forward to a”quite” stay . I was not able to enjoy the quiteness of the area because the heater needed to run constantly and was very noisy. But overall the stay was ok.
