James and Shawna offered all of the amenities one would expect. We had some initial difficulty finding the cottage and actually had landed at the wrong cottage where we awaited our hosts because we were unable to unlock the door… until neighbors intervened wondering why we were making ourselves comfortable waiting for Shawna to help us get in “their” cottage! Being on Lake Idlewild and watching all the lake activities was very enjoyable and relaxing. Every morning I ate breakfast outside and enjoyed! Kitchen was very well stocked except for no colander and cutting board. The sofa bed was not made up upon my arrival and it could do for a new mattress and cover. And, the French doors could use some shades for well needed privacy while sleeping. But, most importantly, please don’t drink the water. It smells of sulfur. It is quiet, peaceful and has a lovely view of Lake Idlewild.
