Avoid This Hotel

Drove around with our taxi driver for 20 minutes trying to find the place. It wasn't where Google said it would be, and no one in Otavalo had any idea what it was. Finally found it, and the front desk said we didn't have a reservation. We showed him printed proof that we did, so he took us to a room and gave us towels and toilet paper. No key, and no wifi password. Two windows in the room were left ajar and they let in cold air. We promptly walked down the street and found a better hotel.

Location is everything

This is a hostel very basic...good location and important good plumbing lol...no English and be ready to pay cash. Yes I would stay again.

Limpo e próximo à praça central.

Quarto confortável (mas leve viseira - não há cortina black-out). Localizado a apenas alguns minutos de caminhada da praça central. Café da manhã básico, servido no último piso, com vista para as montanhas. Não há elevadores.

Hotel ist innen in einem schlechten Zustand

DasHotel sieht von aussen gut aus.Drinnen stimmt aber überhaupt nichts. Personal ist nicht motiviert. Die Zimmerreinigung wurde erst gemacht als wir reklamiert haben. Um das Frühstück musst man fast betteln. Statt zu servieren spielte das Personal lieber mit dem Handy. Die Wasserhähne tropften so, dass der Badezimmerboden richtig nass war, aber es wurde nichts dagegen unternommen.

Changer d'hôtel

Pas d'électricité en arrivant et changer de chambre car odeur d'égout. Petit dejeuner simple et café instantané,pas de fruits.

Central location

The hotel had a quaintness about it that was interesting. The problem with the hotel was the noise. It is on a Main Street and it is very noisy. It was difficult to sleep.

On your own

Good location, very clean room, but noisy. No hot water!☹️☹️ You are on your own as the hotel had no information available --even about its own breakfast service or location of roof top dining area. We were the only guests mid week but felt safe and secure. The breakfast was good and filling.! And staff was pleasant. However no extra blankets and the nights were cool.

Great location, BUT...

They charged me over 10% extra to use a credit card and they didn't warn me until they had already charged it. This is against the terms of any standard agreement that a business makes when it agrees to accept credit cards.

Exclente ubication

Todo es perfecto. El cuatro fue limpia, cama comfortable, desayuno delicios y el location fue convenient. Espero visitar esta hotel otra vez!!
