I’ve stayed at this location at least 7 times now this year traveling back and forth between Texas and Minnesota to care for family. I have never been disappointed with my stay here. it’s in a great safe location, is extremely clean and always comfortable beds no matter the room I’ve been in. I highly recommend staying here.

Disgusting that's probably all you need to know. Bathtub/shower was filthy, fire/smoke alarm missing (none whatsoever in the room), electrical outlets were dead or the protective plate was missing, smelled like cigarette smoke, HVAC heater/air conditioner was unusable because it smelled like a dead rat when turned on. Not enough towels, no ice, no hangars, no coffee or cups, and not enough light in the room. No staff spoke English. Mattress was comfortable and water was hot.

The hotel clerk was a very nice woman who did not speak English so she used her phone to communicate with me. She tried her best to help the situation. I had a big problem with the condition of the room. The sheets were dirty and the door was in bad condition and only had one lock. The bathroom left a lot to be desired. The location was scary and it looked as though several men lived there. Tried to get a refund but owner would not comply.

I don't know what the room was like since they didn't have a room for us. The desk clerk spoke NO English. She used her phone to translate. I showed her my Expedia confirmation, but it didn't help. She didn't even offer help to find another pet friendly hotel. I can't believe Expedia deals with such a place!

Hotel is in an industrial area. I felt safe there. The wonder was great and you can tell they have put a lot of work into improving to rooms. Room was very nice for the price range. I would stay there again.

The parking lot really needs to be resurfaced or at least fill in some of the pot holes! I know they have made major improvements over the last 10 years however it doesn't seem as though they've done much in the past year.

First - the sign outside the hotel had a different name, therefore making it difficult to find in the first place. Second - it was right next door to several extremely large grain elevators, which are noisy in and of themselves, but the additional truck traffic was horrible. Third - the parking lot was over grown with weeds and looked almost abandoned except for the 2 vehicles parked there. Based on the look of the facility and the horrible location, we decided it wasn't even worth the $45 to risk it. We never checked in and found a Days Inn several miles away for $65 that was in much better condition.

Our room had bed bugs which I brought to the managers attention. All he said to me was “ that’s news to me”. No apology, no let me switch you rooms.. nothing! He actually acted like I was more of an inconvenience than anything. Needless to say we left and went to another hotel. Not before taking everything to a laundromat first! I’m not sure if you have ever dealt with bed bugs but it is a a big hassle making sure you do not bring any with you! Luggage , clothing, your car everything has to be cleaned and checked! It’s an absolute Nightmare!! The room was dirty and did not have hot water. I will never stay here again nor would I recommend!!!

The property does not have the nicest views. That said I was greeted by the staff. The room was clean with a refrigerator, microwave, TV, free wifi. It was like staying at a friends house. Staff was so nice. They even let me charge my Tesla during my stay! Hotel was close to the Strataca salt mines and Cosmosphere. And all for a bargain price!

Old motel that has been updated. Rooms were clean and staff was amazing. The motel was full If hard working people who were very pleasant. Not the most fancy motel, but the staff make up for it. Will stay again.

I was a bit disappointed with the room. The pillows were flat as a pancake, no towels in room, and the towel that was in there was so small it was not useable for a shower with someone my size. No curtain over the bathroom window for privacy. We had to hook up the lamps by the bed so we could use the electrical outlet. The only pleasant thing about my experience was the gentleman that helped us when we arrived. The tenant next door was so loud you couldn’t sleep all night long…and she did talk all night!!! Her dog even barked a lot. We did not get any service at all while we were there. I know it was a no frills hotel, but come on…at least service the rooms with towels and stuff needed.

I made my reservation on 5/5/23 before noon. Our family had a college graduation in Hutchinson, Ks. Went to check in at 3:30 p.m. only to find the door locked. Called the phone number on the website to let them know we had to go to college graduation but would be back late. No answer after calling NUMEROUS times. At 9:30 p.m. I left a family dinner at a restaurant due to the fact I was worried I didn't have a room. The office was open and I heard someone say in a backroom "It the cops here?" The manager John stated the modem went down and everything was messed up. We have stayed at this place numerous times prior. He stated he didn't have a room for us. Knew that Expedia had taken my money but couldn't provide the room I paid for. The parking lot was empty except for a few vehicles. John then proceeded to tell me that we would have to go to the "sister hotel" named the HutchiBell Hotel which was located on the opposite side of town. We arrived after 10 p.m. exhausted and frustrated. At the HutchiBell, the desk person did NOT have my reservation or any idea we were coming. She said that John at the Vento Hotel had send 5 others her way as well. They had no rooms left and were filled to compacity with the exception of a room they didn't plan to use as the AC didn't work, refrigerator didn't work, and we couldn't get the cable to work either. We took the room. I was really upset at this point. She was nice and by no means was this her fault. I'd like a refund!!

Fantastic little gem! John is a hard worker, always improving the motel. I'm picky about beds and i approve of this one. But you might wanna bring your own pillow. Very clean and nicely decorated. Fridge and everything!

John is a very pleasant and caring person. The property is old but getting renovations. I agree that it is a hidden gem on the inside. The basic necessities: comfortable bed, microwave/mini fridge, wi-fi, full cable channels, friendly environment, and quiet. Would stay there anytime in the area.
