Characterful Victorian 3 bed, 2 bath semi detached cottage in the town of Hunstanton, Norfolk. Although very close to all amenities the cottage is in a peaceful part of the town. There is on road parking and a car park opposite the property, which has electric charging points at an extra cost. The property has been sympathetically renovated to maintain some lovely original features, but with a modern twist, with FREE WIFI. There is a lounge, separate dining room, leading through to a well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, double oven and separate fridge freezer. There is a highchair, travel cot (bed linen not included) and stair gate available for families with younger children. The bedrooms are situated over 2 floors, a king with ensuite, twin with separate bathroom on the 1st floor. The 3rd bedroom is also a king with a partial sea view (Bed linen and towels included). We just ask that you bring beach towels as these are not included. There is a small garden to the front of the property. The rear of the property has a yard with dining table and chairs. It also has an outside store that could be used to store equipment such as bicycles. There is a range of beach equipment for your use. There is a warm outside shower hose to help wash down those sandy feet and or paws after a day on the beach!. The property is just a 150 metres to Hunstanton beach and a 15 minute walk to Old Hunstanton beach, with its sweeping golden sands and amazing sunsets. The town of Hunstanton is a Victorian seaside town which has many restaurants from take away fish and chips to a well renowned Michelin star restaurant. We do advise booking to avoid disappointment but many will still try and accommodate walk ins. There are many activities for all ages come rain or shine including water sports, theatre, golf, fairground, swimming pool with flumes, Sealife centre, leisure facilities, art/craft centres, cycling. Hunstanton is a great base to explore North Norfolk with easy access to Sandringham, RSPB sites, Holkham, Brancaster, Burnham Market, Holme next to the sea, Tichwell, Thornham all being a short drive, coastal walk or bus route away. Good quality beds, towels and kitchen bits and bobs. Appreciated the tea and coffee. Great to have cleaning products available too in case you need them. The beds were very comfortable and the showers were good. The settees were comfortable and the heating was efficient. The cottage is in a great location for walking to the seafront and town centre. The pottery painting studio next door but one was a hit with our teen daughter. We didn’t have any problems parking outside the property. We enjoyed a lovely meal at The Golden Lion Hotel (but expensive!) and a nice trip out to the RSPB nature reserve at Titchwell. The walk back from Old Hunstanton along the top of the cliff was pleasant.The stairs to the first floor are steep and were tricky for someone with mobility issues. Dog friendly property, however, it would be nice to provide some dog bowls for food and water. We had a lovely stay and would recommend the cottage. Thank you. ##### Diane B. Furnished to high standard. Very convenient to walk to small supermarket and other shops/cafes. Managed to find on street parking near the cottage but car park opposite available. On exit bedding required to be stripped and placed with used towels, together with bins being emptied - minor issue. ##### Anna N. The house and facilities were perfect (although the staircase was narrow, stair gates were available for toddlers and dog. Everything we needed was there and we had great communication from our hosts. Location was brilliant, easy walking distance to the town and all attractions, with great recommendations for dinner and activities. We spent our days on the beaches and the house ans outdoor space was perfect for that! Can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended for families and groups ##### helen d. A real home away from home. All you could need with none of the annoying missing details you sometimes get like bin bags or a bottle opener. The town center is on your doorstep with a myriad of cafés and restaurants to choose from. The owner was the star of the show. Answered all our questions very promptly and seemed to genuinely care about our stay. ##### Matthew T. We enjoyed staying at Valentine Cottage. It is in a very convenient location and we were able to walk down into the centre of Hunstanton and then to the beach every day. Other beaches were just a short drive away. A handy supermarket was a very short distance from the house. The owners have retained the character of the old cottage but have installed a lovely modern kitchen. The inside of the cottage is nicely decorated and it feels peaceful and cosy. The beds are very comfortable and the house is clean and well equipped. Communication with the owner was good. ##### Hazel R.
