Welcome to the Grizzly Den, an older mobile home located on a quiet residential street in beautiful Hungry Horse MT. This place was built in the 1970’s so it’s not perfect but it’s clean, affordable and only 10 miles to GNP! What more can the budget conscious traveler ask for?! Come home after a day of hiking to relax and cook up a burger on the BBQ. Two bedroom, full bath with kitchen. Comfy beds, soft sheets and pillows. Stocked with tea, coffee and basic spices. We also supply bear spray for your convenience. TV with DVD player but no cable. WIFI is available. Verizon and AT&T should get decent service.

The only thing on cleanliness was the porch to the firepit. Otherwise everything was clean. The location was great for the West Glacier entrance, places to eat and groceries.

Cozy and convenient

Convenient for trips to Glacier National Park. Thoughtful touches provided, from fluffy towels, nice toiletries, coffee/tea, and a well-stocked kitchen, to bear spray. We enjoyed our stay.

Great spot

Great little spot about 15 min away from west entrance of Glacier. Place was clean, beds were comfortable and towels were super soft. Kitchen was stocked with basics which was really nice.

Spot on

Great location and easy to find. Nice neighborhood and close to shops and Glacier. Kitchen was well appointed and the bathroom had fabulous towels. Grill worked well. The place felt like home and we had a wonderful stay.

Perfect for the Park

Great place to stay near West Glacier park entrance. Splits the difference between the park and whitefish, so it’s extremely convenient location. The place is super cozy, spacious and full of all the stuff you would need to make yourself at home in between your adventures. Thanks Lacota, we hope to return some time.

Exactly as described, maybe not the most luxurious apartment but perfectly clean with excellent facilities, plenty towels bed linen etc. and well equipped kitchen. West Glacier just a few minutes away.

Close to Glacier National Park

We appreciated all the little extra touches that the host did for this property. There was bear spray available to use while hiking and some basic spices and condiments in the fridge. We had a comfortable stay here and it was very close to Glacier which was our reason for coming.

Glacier getaway

We had such a wonderful experience at Lacota’s place. It is an understatement to say the kitchen was well stocked, it had anything we needed to cook with. The beds were comfortable and so were the living room furniture. Highly recommend.

Trip to Glacier

Took a trip up to Glacier with a few buddies, found this VRBO to be much more budget friendly than a lot of the others plus it was in a fantastic location. We weren't at the VRBO very much, but with a 15 minute drive to Glacier it was in a great location for us. The property was very clean and came as advertised, would definitely recommend staying here and would stay here again.

This place was very nice and clean. About 1 block off the main road in Hungry Horse. Some road noise. About 10-15 minutes from west Glacier. We would definitely stay here again. Close to Carolyn's Cafe. 5 star breakfast cafe

Perfect Location for Glacier

We had a great stay at Lacota's property. It was conviently located and had all the ammenities we needed. We had enough space to spread out vs our hotel stays while traveling from NC to MT. We watched several of the educational Glacier videos and she had all the information on great trails and local restaurants. We loved our stay and would highly recommend. The trailer had super cute mountain and bear decor which fit in great with the location and she even bought us welcome huckleberry candies and a special loaf of bread. The cabinets had all the things youd need for your stay from coffee to zip loc bags which although we planned ahead for someone not driving across the country not having to worry about those things is a plus. She definetly has an attention to detail in the level of hospitality she shows! When we come back down the road we will look for this listing! Thank you once again for making our week stay awesome.

The hosts could not have been more accommodating, check in and check out was very smooth. Big, fluffy towels were a great way to clean up after a day of hiking/biking/off-roading. We had a lovely visit to Glacier in the fall, thanks!

Great place to stay if you’re visiting GNP! Clean, well stocked with what we needed, close to West entrance of GNP to beat the crowds and enjoy park later in day as well, and host is great (very responsive and wants you to have a memorable experience)!
