Great stay in clean and secure apartment near Chambord
We had a great reception and excellent stay, cycling and visiting castles every day. The apartment was clean and well stocked, as advertised. Thanks to the host for the warm reception and even tomatoes from their garden!

Really delightful gite
We enjoyed a few days in this lovely gite. It is well equiped, comfortable and in an excellent location. The owner (Valerie) is delightful and very welcoming. We would stay here again without a doubt!

Charm Abounds
This charming stand-alone apartment, with on site parking, in Valerie’s family compound is the perfect location for exploring the Loire Valley. It is steps away from Chambord, minutes to a supermarket and a stone’s throw from a lovely boulangerie.

Absolutely fabulous!
Valerie and Frederic are such lovely and gracious hosts! The property was better than pictured...quaint, clean and beautifully decorated. The unit is fully equipped down to an apron and cooking condiments, info on all the surrounding chateaux and toys if you have a kiddo. Bottled water was in the fridge and the A/C kept us cool during the unusual hot spell in June. Chateau Chambord is just minutes up the road. A quiet little town but with a cafe and patisserie (both closed Sunday and Monday). Grocery shopping is close by in the next village. We had a fanatic stay. Thank you, Valerie!

My wife and I stayed here whilst we renewed our acquaintance with the Loire valley. The apartment was very comfortable, well equipped ,and the hosts could not have been more more welcoming. The location was both very peaceful and conveniently placed as a base for visiting the area. Also very good to have an excellent boulangerie within 50 metres. We highly recommend.

A wonderful property in a delightful area.
My wife and I chose to stay in this property during our recent visit to the Loire Valley area and it proved to be an excellent decision. The property is charming, very comfortable and well equipped and is situated in a quiet village just a few Kilometres from Blois. There is an excellent Boulangerie practically on the doorstep, a supermarket five minutes away by car and any number of chateau and small towns/villages to visit within easy driving distance, and the owners (Valerie and Frederic, who are a lovely couple) made us feel so welcome that the house really felt like a “home from home”. I would certainly recommend this property to anyone planning to visit this area of France.

Perfect base for biking in the Loire valley
This was an excellent choice for us - we had a week biking and exploring the many local chateaux in the area. The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped, part of a beautiful larger building owned by Valerie, who was very friendly and helpful.There was a safe place to store our bikes.The village is quiet which suited us (with a very good bakery). Weather was fantastic in mid June.

Absolutely stunning, highly recommend
When we arrived we received a warm welcome from our host, and was then shown around the stunning apartment. Only sorry we could not mark it higher than a 5 star rating a real home from home., beautiful setting, luxury accommodation that was really well equipped . No expense had been spared.

Superb Accommodation
An excellent, immaculately clean and spacious apartment in an ideal location for cycling and exploring the Loire area, including its many chateaux. The apartment is set within a very pretty and secure courtyard in a quiet location, just 2 minutes walk from a good bakery and just a short drive to a supermarket. Good storage is also provided for bikes. Valerie and her husband were superb hosts, very friendly, helpful and informative. Would highly recommend booking!

Comfortable and well equipped
We received a lovely welcome and enjoyed our week in this comfortable and well-equipped gite, with all the accommodation on the upper level. The property is in a small village with bar, bakers and a church with interesting modern stained glass - but no restaurant. It is very close to Chambord and a quick easy drive from Blois and Cheverny, making it an ideal centre from which to explore a large part of chateaux country. Our only letdown was the unseasonably bad August weather.

Perfect home in a perfect location.
Adorable place to stay. Very clean especially the linens. The nicest people you'll ever want to meet. It's in a perfect location to see the castles in Amboise, Chenonceau, Blois, and Chambord. Bakery is across the way for an easy and fresh breakfast in the morning. Grocery store about 4km away. Very private courtyard/driveway behind an automated gate. Just lovely!

My Second Visit
I rented this property last fall and was so pleased I returned again this winter. The property is charming, clean and well equiped. It is located in a small village where is is quite and peaceful but close enough to all the sites the Loire Valley has to offer. I feel very comforable here. Parking located inside a gated courtyard which is wonderful. There is no stress trying to find parking and I could leave things in the car without worring. The hosts are very accomodating. I would highly recommend this property and will return next time I am in the Loire Valley.

Charming!
Wonderful, peaceful and quiet. I have rented dozens of homes and apartments in the last several years in France and this one ranks at the very top. The owner Valerie was very nice and welcoming. The apartment was clean, quiet and bigger than I expected. It was fully equipped and had everything I needed. The parking was located in a gated courtyard, which was really nice since I had done quite a bit of antique shopping and was able to leave everything in the car, safe and secure! I love the Loire Valley and this apartment is ideally located to tour the countryside and visit all the fabulous chateaux! I would definitely stay here again!

Séjour parfait !
Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette jolie location où on se sent "comme à la maison" ! Accueil très sympathique de la propriétaire d'abord puis séjour de 3 jours dans l'appartement où tout est impeccable, joli, et où rien ne manque pour passer un bon séjour. Il est, de plus, très bien situé pour visiter toutes les merveilles historiques du lieu : Chambord, Cheverny, Chaumont-sur-Loire...entre autres ! Nous y reviendrons très certainement dès que possible !

Châteaux à l'agréable
Nous (famille allemande) avons passé 4 jours dans cet appartement de charme avec 3 adultes. Rien ne manquait, on était charmé par l'appartement, le petit jardin et surtout le "table tennis" au "grenier-jeux". Certainement à recommender, aussi parce que le Château de Chamborg est accessible facilement par une piste cyclable.

Magnifique gîte
Situation idéale pour découvrir les châteaux de la Loire et le zoo de Beauval. Le gite était impeccable, décoré avec goût et idéal pour notre famille de 5 personnes. Les enfants ont adoré l'espace jeux gigantesque ainsi que le jardin privatif. Merci pour l'accueil très agréable de la propriétaire et pour ses conseils pratiques.

Le gite est superbe, très bien aménagé et équipé. Le confort est complet (stationnement sécurisé, local vélos, salle de jeux, petit jardin pour manger dehors, cuisine super équipée (présence sel, poivre, huile d'olive, café, thé, tisane, ....), salle de bain équipée avec gel douche, savon.. L'accueil a été super sympathique. L'environnement est très calme. Une boulangerie est située à 50 mètres. Une excellente adresse. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour. Rien à redire.

Tres sympathique
Gite tres sympathique et spacieux proche du chateau de Chambord et de Blois. Il y a de plus une salle de jeux qui permet aux enfants de jouer apres les visites. Les proprietaires sont tres accueillants. En bonus, une tres bonne boulangerie a quelques pas du gite avec de la viennoiserie faite maison.

Un magnifique gite, spacieux, confortable, calme et propriétaire très sympathique.
Le gite est très spacieux, bien équipé, avec gout, dans une demeure de charme. L'espace séparé baby-foot et table de ping-pong permet de se défouler. Nombreux jeux de société et livres pour les enfants. Emplacement idéal pour rayonner : Chambord, Cheverny, Blois... à moins de 30mn. Boulangerie exceptionnellement fermée durant notre court séjour, dommage. La propriétaire est très accueillante et nous a donné de nombreux conseils.

Friendly hosts and nice appartement
The welcome was very friendly and we enjoyed our stay. The appartement is clean and has got air-condition which we really neaded as it was very hot during our holiday. The location is great to visit Saumur and the castle Chambord where you can easily go by bike. There are also some other interesting castles not far away.

Wir haben leider nur drei Nächte in der schönen, ruhigen und sehr sauberen Ferienwohnung verbringen können. Die Küchenausstattung war vollständig und die Betten waren sehr bequem. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und erhielten trotz geringer Französischkenntnisse eine geduldige Erklärung der Einrichtung.

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour de 6 nuits dans ce mas spacieux, joliment décoré et très bien équipé. Très touchés par l'accueil chaleureux de nos hôtes, Mme Archambault a été charmante avec nous et nous a donné beaucoup de bonnes adresses. L'endroit est idéalement situé pour la visite des principaux châteaux de la région. Bonne boulangerie juste en face pour des petits déjeuners délicieux. À recommander sans hésiter.

Der Aufenthalt war eine wunderschöne Erfahrung! Eine perfekte, blitzsaubere, mit viel Geschmack eingerichtete heimelige Wohnung. Eine charmante, hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Kurze Entfernungen zu den Schlössern, nach Blois, zu Radtouren. Wir hatten wirklich alles, was wir uns wünschten. Sehr zu empfehlen, wir jedenfalls kommen gerne wieder.

Charmante Ferienwohnung mit guter Lage und netten Eigentümern
Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, sehr sauber und bietet eine sehr gute Ausgangslage, um Schlösser und weitere Städte an der Loire zu besichtigen. Die Vermieterin ist total freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Wir würden wiederkommen.

charmante location
La location est vraiment jolie, décorée avec goût, extrêmement propre et bien agencée. Sa localisation est idéale pour visiter les châteaux de Blois et Chambord. Nous avons aussi été à ceux de Chenonceau et d'Amboise, le petit château de Fougère sur Brieve vaut le détour. L''accueil de la propriétaire est très chaleureux et nous a réservé une gentille attention à notre arrivée. Un seul petit bémol; la connexion internet n'est pas sécurisée. L'arrivée à 18 h est aussi un peu tard. Nous recommandons cette location et espérons y revenir.

Gite agréable dans une belle propriété idéalement situé pour visiter les châteaux! Le logement situé à l'étage d'une dépendance attenante à la maison des propriétaires et décoré avec goût et équipé comme une maison. Malgré des températures hivernales (janvier) nous avons passés un agréable séjour!

Très beau gite dans une vieille demeure, séjour très agréable malgré le brouillard de décembre
Un séjour en famille (2 adultes et 2 enfants) très agréable pour visiter les chateaux de la Loire. Le gite est très calme et bien situé, entre Blois et Chambord. Confort impeccable et cuisine bien équipée pour ceux qui veulent cuisiner. Propriétaires très à l'écoute et très sympathiques. Je recommande ce gite sans hésitation
