Property was decent, not the greatest curb appeal, but interior was clean and comfortable. Everything needed was in the house. Beds were super comfortable. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The living room couches were very comfy and nice looking. Loved that there was a throw blanket in the living room for the cooler evenings!!

Amazing Location and Property

The property itself was wonderful. Easy access to the canal. Next door to an ice cream parlor and convenience store. Immaculately clean. The list goes on and on of the positive experiences at this property. Its a 2 minute drive and a 15ish minute walk to the beach. Honestly couldn't have asked for a better place to spend some time away. Would absolutely book over and over again.

Great space near Hudson Beach. Home was clean and had everything we needed. Backyard was spacious and the dock was a great place to unwind. Right next door to the ice cream shop!!! Easy check in/out and owner was very responsive to all messages. Very comfortable home.

Waterfront rental

The house is nice, comfy, and dock is nice. The area is awesome. The only thing is the parking. It is true story there is an office on the bottom so you are really limited on parking. If you bring your boat and have a boat and trailer that you have to park there and another vehicle very hard only wanna give you a single space that you have to park in which is once she back your trailer up in there if the boat would’ve been bigger than our 22 foot hurricane I don’t believe it would work very tight and there’s just no way you can put another vehicle in before it because they have a pod sitting there that’s not shown in the pictures other than that great stay.

Exactly what the Dr. Ordered

First off, the host is a hands on guy. He will help with anything you need. The bnb was very nice, had a dock i fished on every day. The unit itself was immaculate and easy to navigate. Everything was exactly as described in the listing. I will be staying there again as i make more frequent stays in Hudson. Its also cheaper than a good hotel. Just sayin'.

Nice second story apartment

We found this apartment to be very comfortable. It had a very large room that had three sofas all very nice a large table with six chairs with a serving and stools from the kitchen. The kitchen was very modern and it had a really nice big washer and dryer my only complaint would be is it is a second apartment so if your handicap don’t book one but if you’re not handicapped, it’s a very nice apartment would I book it again if I was in the area Sure

Good Location, But Extremely Run Down & Unsanitary

The location is the biggest plus—steps from the beach and right on a canal with beautiful water views. The host thoughtfully provides linens, kitchenware, and extras like fishing poles, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the property itself is in very poor condition. It feels more like someone’s cluttered home than a vacation rental. The furniture is outdated, the house has a strong musty odor, and many items are rusted, broken, or stained—including cookware, utensils, and linens.Safety is a concern. The wooden stairs are loose and damaged, the front gate doesn't close properly, and there’s no real balcony—just steps leading to an AC unit. It’s definitely not child-safe. There’s also a large shipping container in the driveway and an abandoned-looking office downstairs, both of which were unsettling and not disclosed in the listing.Cleanliness was a major issue. We found mold in the ceiling, dog hair and food wrappers under couch cushions, dust on picture frames, dirty baseboards, and a wet sponge in the sink when we arrived. Used toiletries, open condiments, and cluttered cabinets throughout made the stay feel unsanitary and uncomfortable. The place looks like no money has been reinvested into it, with mismatched consignment furniture and worn-out essentials. It has potential, but it needs serious updates, deep cleaning, and attention to safety before being listed as a beach rental.

This was one of the most well-stocked places I’ve stayed at—everything we needed was right there, which made our stay super convenient. It’s not the Ritz, but for the price, it was more than good enough. The space was also surprisingly roomy, which was a nice bonus.
