The perfect location for a family weekend getaway, with a bike trail and a golf course minutes away from the property. This charming farmhouse is surrounded by the natural beauty of the Root River Valley, and located between neighboring communities of Houston and Rushford. Such a cute place!
This place is the PERFECT farmhouse setting !!! The house is beautiful, the view is stunning. Even though its on the main highway - it was peaceful and quiet. Very conveniently located close to several small towns and points of interest. Host was very responsive and very polite. Already planning on when to come back and we cannot wait !!
We stayed for several days at Morgan's 3 Peak Farmhouse in May. We came to do some trout fishing in the areas rivers. The location was perfect for us. Our stay was very comfortable. The house was spacious and there was more than enough room to accomodate the six of us. It was easy to work with Morgan and communication was very good. We had a very good experience.
6 adults utilized the rental and we were very satisfied. House had what we needed for cooking cleaning and sleeping. TV had a subscription package and the living room had seating for everyone. Very good set up for our needs.
We loved this farmhouse. It was set in the bluffs of Southeastern Mn and it was beautiful! The rooms were spacious and fit all of us nicely. Loved the big kitchen! We managed with 1 bathroom and 11 of us which was not ideal, but accurate for a farm home. Most farmhouses only had 1 bathroom with large families. This house was located in close proximity to town, but far enough away to feel like you were definitely in the country. Our family is already talking about coming back in the future.
The house is nicely finished. The bedrooms were really nice and large and easily accommodated our families. Air conditioning would have been nice to have on the first night. The second was much cooler. The bed I slept in only had a fitted sheet and a bedspread, no top sheet.
The property is very nice, great for outdoor activities. We had a great stay. Really enjoyed the property, and our time together there.
We came to do some biking in the area. I was concerned we had booked too far from Lanesboro, but it was perfect. The drive is beautiful from there Houston has a really nice bike trail, too! We visited several towns in the area and this home was a great place to come back to each day. We stayed our trip at the Houston Visitor Center, since we got to town early. Great place to start riding! Morgan was great to work with and responded quickly when we had questions. We only had 4 people so we had enough room to visit in the living room and play games in the dining room. The house is an older house, so there were narrow stairs, and fewer electrical sockets, but the two main bedrooms are quite large. We found the pictures to be very accurate. Thank you for a nice place to stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it was an all around wonderful experience! The farmhouse was very clean and the bedrooms were all comfortable and charming. The bluffs to the north were such an awesome sight! And the distance to quaint little towns were within ten minutes. We would definitely stay here again.
The farmhouse was absolutely beautiful! The hosts were more than accommodating. If you forget anything, it’s probably there. The scenery is breathtaking. It was well worth our drive from Ohio.
Highly recommend!
