Completely renovated top to bottom with every detail in mind. You will be at the center of everything. Quiet setting in Downtown Houghton within walking distance of restaurants, shopping, recreation, waterfront trail and much more! Within minutes of Mount Ripley, Michigan Tech University and within 1 hour of Mount Bohemia and Copper Harbor. The view of the Portage Canal and Lift Bridge says it all about this location.

Parking: Two parking spaces are available for each suite and located at the rear of the building along the iron fence/gate entrance to the suites. The condo is perfect: well-laid out, attractive and very comfortable. You can't beat the location: easy walk to shops and restaurants and a not too long walk to Michigan Tech.

Such a cute stylish and modern place. Everything is updated great kitchen appliances and cookware allowed us to eat in. Love the location overlooking the river and downtown Houghton walking distance to many restaurants and shops. It’s a place for both families and couples.

Great location from which to explore Michigan UP

If you like the wilderness but want some conveniences nearby, this is the perfect place. The condo is right in downtown Houghton, so you have access to restaurants, bars,etc. The place is beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The hosts are quick to respond. I would not stay anywhere else in the area.

Great space in the heart of Houghton

My husband and I loved the suite/apartment! It is a beautifully renovated space in downtown Houghton - a clean, fresh and inviting area to stay! The huge windows offer a wonderful view of town, the Portage and the lift bridge. We had an easy walk to all our destinations, and check-in and check-out were a breeze. Thank you!

I lived in Houghton for 28 years. We recently moved, but have a daughter attending Michigan Tech. This location is absolutely perfect when coming back. We could walk anywhere downtown. We had dedicated parking right out back. The unit was beautiful. We will definitely stay when we come back up if available.

Visit to see our daughter at MTU

We really enjoyed the stay and the property was great! It was as good or better than the photos. The unit it is in a great location, within walking distance of all the downtown Houghton popular spots. The large living room window overlooks the Portage and the lift bridge. The host was amazing and helpful. When we had inclement weather and our departure was delayed they were right there to help us extend our stay an extra night, making it as easy as possible. We will definitely be staying here again for future visits.

Wonderful place for a girls weekend!

This apartment was the perfect place for our girls weekend trip to Houghton! The space itself was not only spacious and beautiful, but super clean upon arrival. We were so thankful for the variety of kitchenware as well as the abundance of bathroom linens. Additionally, the location was amazing! We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go downtown in 15 minutes or less. We will definitely be booking here again in the future!

This was a great place to stay for our son's ski camp at Mont Ripley. This building has loads of character. The host was very responsive, and the condo was clean and well-stocked: plenty of towels, bedding, blankets, and ICE. Check-in, building access, and parking was *so* easy. Great kitchen, comfy beds, and a fantastic shower. The stackable washer and dryer was a major plus. We were centrally located in downtown Houghton, within walking distance of nearly every place we wanted to go and less than a 5-minute drive to the ski area. The host provides lots of games, which came in handy for the unexpected rainy day. We loved our stay and plan to return for next year's camp!

Everything was top notch. Communication was on point. One of the cleanest rentals I've ever stayed in!. Awesome view of the lift bridge, day or night. The proximity to dining and shopping on Main Street could not be better situated. "IF" you are a light sleeper, it's possible you'll hear sounds from the cars going by on the bricks that make up Main Street Houghton. There is at least 1 box fan (maybe 2, didn't look for it) in the room we slept in, turn that on medium and it drowns out any outside noise from the street. The building is renovated from the copper boom, it would be awesome if there was some history on the building in the form of some wall art. The only thing that would've made it better, but even so, would be a king bed in one of the rooms. Looking forward to future visits, hope it's available when we want to come back.

This lovely downtown apartment was an amazing home base -- luxurious, super-clean, and comfortable -- as we visited our kids' family and explored the area. All of the thoughtful details made it feel like we were treating ourselves to a beautiful vacation while at the same time enjoying the comforts of home. Newly renovated -- amazing open, well-appointed kitchen. Beautiful wood floors. Inviting blend of old character and new finishes. Wonderful yoga studio, walking/riding path along the canal, and little shops out our door. Owners were responsive and helpful, communications clear. What a gem of a place in Houghton!
