The Hideaway- Cozy Home in the Woods

Retreat, relax, recharge and recreate yourself in this 2 bedroom, 2 bath cottage which sleeps 4 comfortably but can handle an extra 1 to 2 guests and lies less than 5 minutes from lakes, hiking, tennis and golf. Step inside. From its wall of windows view nature from within. Then cuddle on the plush sectional on movie night, and host game night around the dining table which seats six. In fact, the kitchen is well equipped with the essentials the family chef needs to create culinary masterpieces. But if cooking is not on your agenda, Hot Springs and the Village are near. They’ll take care of you.

Afterwards, step onto the wrap-around deck and wrap your thoughts around the activities you and your family will enjoy on it including solitude mornings. Your mind will quiet as here you savor a book and a cup brimming with coffee. Envision conversational evenings here too. You, your family and friends will revisit and laugh about the day (or days) well spent and finally retire to either of​ ​two bedrooms that boast queen beds and plush bedding.

Absolutely beautiful views from the back deck. We enjoyed the fire pit and tetherball. The kitchen was fully equipped and the house was clean and beautifully decorated! Mark was awesome in assisting us when we unfortunately lost our keys to our truck! He helped us find a local locksmith who got us up and running in now time. We will definitely return!!!

Great place to stay!

Very comfortable and quite place to stay. We felt at home and enjoyed all the amenities. Awesome walking trails and lakes. Very close to grocery store and restaurants. Definitely recommend this property!

A Wooded Oasis

A quaint little house on a beautiful, quiet wooded lot. Nicely furnished with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. It's on the west side of HSV so it's close to amenities as well. We and our little pup enjoyed the time hi very much!

First Time to Hot Springs

It was our first time to Hot Springs, and we were bringing two dogs which r allowed us the ability to walk them and let them “wander” a little bit through the woods behind the property. Beautiful setting, and we had cool, perfect weather, so the balcony was enjoyable! Appreciate the hospitality!

Perfect Place to Relax

Wonderful property to kick back and relax. Communication with the owner was top notch. Definitely recommend this property to vacationers going to the Hot Springs. The location between Little Rock and Hot Springs National Park is perfect.

Perfect Getaway! Nice, clean and comfortable!

The Hideway was the perfect getaway for our trip to Hot Springs and Hot Springs Village. The home is very clean, comfortable and furnished with everything you would need. We really enjoyed our stay, the back deck surrounded by woods and the fire pit. Hope to be back soon.

Tree house feel

The scenery out the windows made you feel like you were in a tree house. We enjoyed the many trails And it was so convenient to the gate And we sure enjoyed happy hour at the golf club houses

Fall Get-away

The property was great! The neighborhood was quiet and had many streets to take walks on. The house was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the cool morning temps and playing with the dogs in the yard.

Hot Springs getaway

The house is so cute and is a great set up for two couples. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit and cooking on the grill. The neighborhood is extremely quiet and we took we took advantage of the walking trails within the neighborhood. It is an easy drive to Hot Springs. The owner communication was awesome.

Winter getaway

We stayed at The Hideaway in January. The location was perfect: we loved the trails nearby, the quiet neighborhood, and quick access to Hot Springs. The house itself was cute, clean, well kept, and spacious for our family of 3. And the beds were comfortable! The hosts were very quick to respond, and even provided tips for local hot spots to visit. I would highly recommend The Hideaway to anyone visiting the Hot Springs area.

Weekend getaway

We came to hang with some good friends for the weekend. The property was nice. We should have done our research however because it is a bit of a drive to Hot Springs, which is where we spent much of our time. This place would be good if you play golf there or just want to hang out nearby.

Golf Trip

This was a great house for the four of us. It was secluded enough to allow us to enjoy ourselves on the patio every evening after a round of golf on one of the beautiful courses in HSV. The host was very helpful when we called for TV instructions.

Cozy getaway

The house was perfect for our family of 5. It was home away from home. The location was quiet and close to everything. We enjoyed the games for family game nights. Their favorite part of the stay was the deer watching from the balcony. We look forward to returning!

woodland get away

We had a great time in Hot Springs Village. This home was very comfortable. Our favorite spot was the deck which faces the woods. Very private and pretty. There are several hiking trails in the village and they are quite beautiful. We could get to the highway easily for more park visits and trips to Hot Springs. We recommend this house very highly.

A lovely place, perfectly situated

This stay was an absolute dream. A lovely home, a beautiful neighborhood. 25 minutes or so from everything you might want to do around Hot Springs, so close enough to be convenient, far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. Area was lovely beyond words. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby for any needs that might pop up while you're visiting. And if you like golf, wow! You've got options here. Courses are beautifully maintained. What a gem. We'll be back.

You should check this out

The cabin is in a gated community and very clean and quiet. My wife and I were traveling with another couple. Plenty of room for 2 couples.well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. We spent most of the time on the deck or sitting around the fire pit. Spread a little deer corn and enjoyed the scenery. The hosts were really nice and easy to communicate with. Would recommend this property.

Hot Springs Village tranquillity

Our family enjoyed our stay at this private and conveniently located home. The weather was perfect in October for the beach. Unfortunately there was a fire ban and we only used fire pit our first night. The bbq grill was a bit yucky and there wasn’t any spray left to clean it off. There were only 2 steak knives which could be challenging for groups traveling and sharing meals together. We would consider coming back for our next stay in Hot Springs Village.

HSV - June 2024

We found this property as described and very comfortable. My wife and I traveled to HSV with our two grandsons, ages 6 & 4. We are familiar with HSV and travel there from time to time to ride our SxS in the forest north of the village. Communication with the property owners is superb, the house has 2 bedrooms with comfortable beds and a sectional sofa in the living room to enjoy family time. We spent most of our day outside but enjoyed coming to the house for relaxation after a long day on the trails.

Beautiful Summer Getaway

Located in the gated Hot Springs Village community and about 30 minutes north of Hot Springs, my family enjoyed the cute little home and LOVED the back porch and living space and access to the trails. We had convenient access to many tourist destinations such as Hot Springs National Park, Garvan Woodland Gardens (highly recommend), Ron Coleman Mining, and Mid-America Science Museum. The home was well stocked, clean, secure, and perfect to relax in after a long day of exploring. Communication was great with the owner and had no issues. Thank you!

First trip to Arkansas

Great house and property. Nicely decorated. Very shady back yard with tons of deck space. Comfortable bed. Plenty of room. All the amenities you need just outside the West Gate. We were only there for two days. We both wish we stayed longer. We went to the Coleman mine in Jessieville to do crystal digging. Never done that before but it was fun. We would definitely rent this house again. Thank you for everything including the information you provided about the area. You are great hosts.
