The property was clean and decorated so nicely. We had everything that we needed. There were towels to use for when we went to the local spa, they had a state park pass that we could use if needed. The place was conveniently located downtown with walking distance to many restaurants, spa services. I would highly recommend this property to anybody. We were there for an all class reunion, and I really appreciated the photos of the history of the building that we were staying in and the photos they had from the history of the town. The last night we were there we had a sleepover with our 5 year old granddaughter ( her 1st sleepover) and she had a blast with Gammy and Pop Pop, sleeping on the sofa sleeper. Our hosts were personable and easy to work with, making sure we had a great experience. The number of steps up to the apartment could be a deterrent but was not an issue for us. The self-check-in was easy. I arrived a little before 5 p.m. When I walked in, the hosts had several lights on for me, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. A nice selection of literature is available, including Emerson’s Essays, which features a sweet, inscribed personal message from a wife to her husband. Small details like this make the apartment so charming. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with all the necessities, and the host thoughtfully provided K-cups, ground coffee, and on-site laundry. I briefly met Carrie, the host, and she was wonderful. The apartment is conveniently located a short distance from Moccasin Springs, where I enjoyed a relaxing massage and soaking in the outdoor pools.
