Trimmed in 8 different types of native wood this suite is decorated in a country theme of the hard working pioneers. Beautiful cedar, oak and hickory walls. Full kitchen. You can watch the fireplace from the bed – after a soak in the Jacuzzi. The huge oak slab porch outside has a great view across the lawn and lake. Furnished with rocking chairs on the porch it is sure to capture the heart. We planned on going to the off-road park for a few days and this was the perfect location without having to be on site. They even had trailer parking. The cabin was clean and the bed was comfy. Water pressure in shower with unlimited hot water was definitely a bonus after riding all day. The Sawmill Suite is a neat little studio-style room in half of a larger remodeled building. Bathroom area in a semi-separate are and plenty private enough with a two-person jacuzzi tub. Much better than a hotel room! Plenty of wood provided for the fireplace, along with firestarting aids and lighter. Decent WiFi. Had a flatscreen but we didn’t turn it on. Keurig provided with quality coffee and creamer. Nice bottle of local spring water provided. Beautiful interior. Off the beaten path, but plenty close enough to town. We’ll be back! ##### Jeff B. No workable resolution Our property had a wasp problem indoors. They tried to remedy it by spraying the wasps, but new ones kept appearing. So, late at night we called the manager and said we had to go find another place to stay. They offered to put us in a different cabin, but I wasn't confident that the other cabin wouldn't also have wasps, so we just left the property altogether. Didn't want to take chances of getting stung in our sleep. I contacted owner adter we turned home to request a refund and they declined, citing they offered us another cabin and we declined. We only stayed 8 hours and didn't sleep overnight, so lost the whole two nights we booked. I would have been fine with one night comped, but sadly no.
