Then right around the corner youre smack-dab is in the middle of downtown. I found the guest binder very helpful for sourcing some good food and local attractions. The house is older and has a few quirks, like some light switches don’t work and some things need updating (range hood, spa tub & shower head), but the owners have done an amazing job making it a comfortable and enjoyable home to be in. There are plenty of lamps, the bed was so comfortable and the private porch off the master bedroom was superb (like being in the park!). Please note that it’s a “climb” to get into the house and NOT handicap accessible. A steep walking incline with luggage is a workout and it can be slippery when wet. This house is charming and clean with lots of amenities. It’s located on beautiful wooded land within a neighborhood. We even saw a deer in the yard one evening. Within 20 min of arrival we could see deer out of the main bedroom, my husband absolutely adored it! The cottage was clean, and welcoming! The back deck off the main bedroom was heaven to sit on and have coffee or a night cap.
