Bear Bottom Cabin has become one of the most popular homes in our Yonder luxury portfolio, and is quickly becoming one of the most requested! It is not surprising when you put a terrific home together with all the amenities it has to offer.

Location:
Private home located just 10 minutes outside of south Asheville, & just under 30 minutes to downtown Asheville. You are 10 minutes to Asheville Regional airport, and 35 minutes to the gates of Biltmore Estate. You have relatively easy access to just about everything in the area.

Accommodations:
3 bedroom, 2 full baths & Powder Room bath
Occupancy Summary / Sleeps in beds: 8 Max. Occupancy: 10

Description:
A running stream through your backyard...a soothing soak in the hot tub...
or a quiet moment on the screened porch; it all adds-up to complete R-E-L-A-X-A-T-I-O-N!!

How about the feel of mountain relaxation and seclusion, while being less than 15 minutes from Biltmore Park & south Asheville?
Welcome to Bear Bottom Cabin!!

Come create your vision of relaxation and bliss!

Get ready to start your vacation in this traditional mountain style retreat cabin. With soaring vistas, high ceilings, vaulted spaces, and hard wood floors, you will immediately feel at home at Bear Bottom Cabin. (That is of course if you can tear yourself away from the wrap-a-round deck or screened porch & soaking in the spectacle of the Blue Ridge Mountains, & actually venture inside!) The great room, with plenty of space to unwind, and fully equipped, large kitchen, is where everyone will want to gather to enjoy their time together inside the house. But, if you need some “alone time”, there is plenty of space inside and out to find your own serenity. There are 3 outside porches, decks, and patios for ultimate outdoor relaxation.

Kids love the expansive outdoor areas & playing in and around the stream, and of course the hot tub. (Adults of course LOVE the hot tub as well.) The expansive decks & screened porch are just off the Kitchen/Great Room & out the side door, and off the lower terrace level. All of these afford additional outdoor space to relax & unwind. Everyone enjoys the decks, you can pull up a chair and take in the "sound of silence", observe the night as it fills with stars, and watch the fire flies come out to play in your backyard.
Take a seat and enjoy the sound of nature and the serenity in your own private paradise at the top of the world. There is also a fire-pit for hours of tall-tales, s'mores, and family enjoyment!

You are just minutes from America's favorite scenic byway, The Blue Ridge Parkway, motorcycle touring, biking, hiking, white water rafting, rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, zip lining, Segway tour…just about any outdoor activity! Or, take a quick ride to downtown Asheville to enjoy the first-rate restaurants, shopping, galleries, spas, and entertainment.

Great Getaway!
Our family came to Bear Bottom Cabin for a few days on Spring Break. We had a great time! The cabin is located in a great location for both hiking, Asheville and some breweries. We would like to come back.

Great location
We had a wonderful long weekend at this cabin. Group of mostly working moms who needed to get away from the daily grind. This cabin has lots of space, we played a lot of card and board games. Loved the hot tub. We had a few minor issues that were responded to promptly. Kitchen was well equipped. Only negative was refrigerator didn't make ice, so we bought bagged ice. Would definitely come back. Short drive to Sierra Nevada. Ingles and a nice brewery with great food just 5 minutes down the road.

Beautiful property, both indoor and outdoor. Highly recommend! Only note is that the pull out couch bed is surprisingly uncomfortable.

Disliked: Cleanliness
Not as great as expected, but could be phenomenal
Pros: - The cabin is very beautiful, spacious, and boasts a prime location, offering a great setting for a peaceful getaway. - The check-in and check-out process is smooth and hassle-free, ensuring a convenient stay. Cons: - Cleanliness fell short of expectations, with stained blankets and towels, and an unwashed pot, coffee maker, and grill among the issues. - The game room raised concerns with possible mold on the ceiling. - The guest bathroom shower had drainage issues. - Despite guidelines, no tablets were provided for hot tub maintenance. - The fireplace, despite following instructions carefully, did not function. - An unannounced early morning visit for hot tub servicing created discomfort, especially with a child present. We were not expecting anyone to show up and walk on the property before checkout time and not intoduce themselves Overall some of these issues might be normal in a remote cabin stay, but for the price we expected something more. I am assuming the cleaning team was on crunch time as it looks like some of the mess from the previous stay was still present. I would consider the stay a 2.5 for the price.
