The Hampton Inn in Hornell was a great visit. The location has all the needs close proximity to restaurants and markets. The rooms are clean and modern. The free breakfast was tasty

Unfortunately the water system wasn’t working properly but it was repaired. The sheets are not soft. They are in fact uncomfortable. The bathroom is huge and shower pressure is good. Staff is very nice!

The pool is very small and jam packed with unsupervised children yelling and screaming and jumping splashing everywhere! No safe place to sit dry! The smell of urine is just awful also! Children in diapers that aren’t waterproof

Disappointing stay
My wife and I always love staying at Hampton. However this time it was just me. I was disappointed with the tv. Most every channel buffered so much that it was unwatchable. I ended up turning it off and reading. Also my room was on the 3rd floor but the AC units and compressors were on the roof just below my window. It was so noisy that I only got about 1 hour sleep. The people in the room directly above me were continually stomping their feet which also contributed to a poor nights sleep. In short I was very disappointed in my usually happy stay.

New location. Front desk was very welcoming, friendly and professional. Located next to a nice shopping plaza so convenient to amenities. Welcome cookie was a nice touch. Only issue was low water pressure with the shower - otherwise, beautiful new facility.

Beautiful hotel! Staff was very pleasant and welcoming! Room was very spacious! Loved the toiletries large containers vs small ones which are a waste of $. Close to plaza. Nice choices for breakfast! Would recommend this hotel!

Helpful, friendly staff. The property is neat and clean and modern, and centrally located next to a Wegmans Grocery Store, Dunkin and others. The channel selection on the TV was limited for some reason, but who needs 214 channels?

The experience was excellent right at the beginning with check in. The woman was very helpful, let us know where everything was located, and was really nice. The hotel was very clean, decorated nice, and gave you a nice warm cozy home feeling. Then when we got to our room, the cleanliness was there as well. Really comfortable beds and nice greeting on the tv.

The property is very wonderful. I was happy to kmow they had laundry facilities available after a rainy, muddy weekend. The downside is there is only one washer&dryer for the guests, but the service is paid for through an ap and the time is monitored in the ap as well. The staff was extremely friendly and accomosating. The breakfast was more then i expected!!

The woman who greeted us at the front desk when we arrived to check-in was very friendly and offered us freshly baked cookies (3 different kinds) which were delicious. There’s a tea & coffee station in the lobby available 24/7 and the continental breakfast was decent. The room was nice and spacious with a comfortable bed. Like most hotels, there’s always room for improvement when it comes to cleanliness, but I have a critical eye for that. They provided free Showtime with almost 500 movies to choose from, which was a nice offering. There was a safe in the closet, but it was up high on the top shelf and out of reach for someone on the shorter side like myself. We didn’t need to use it though so not a big deal. The closet door also served as the bathroom door by sliding back and forth, which we thought was a little strange, but it didn’t really bother us since we only stayed one night so didn’t use the closet. We also didn’t use the pool or fitness room therefore I can’t comment on those. My only negative comment is the surrounding area didn’t seem to have many dining options other than Applebees, but that’s not the hotel’s fault. Overall, it was a nice hotel and we enjoyed our stay.

Everything is great except the pool. They advertise a heated pool yet my kids are cool getting in and out of the pool. By definition, an indoor heated pool should be 77-82 degrees. There is no way it was that warm. I am visiting from Ohio to visit my kids and to give them a place to swim, but when it is not enjoyable because it is too cold..I stayed a second time to try and hope it would be warmer this time. It was just as cold. I will not be staying at this location again.

Horrible Breakfast
The breakfast is horrible. The eggs are literally crumbs and taste horrible. The bacon doesn't even look real. We were all there for a funeral and all of us as a family were very very disappointed in the breakfast This is the Hampton not micro hotel. Also wifi was down Sunday so many of us couldn't even check in properly
