Check in guy was nice. Check in easy. Hotel was in bad shape. A mess. Not sure if renovating but it was a mess and dirty. Garbage was piled up in the hall on the 4th floor. No Kleenex in room. Couldn’t find breakfast. Seemed like a lot of “residents” hanging around. Only good thing was the bed was comfortable. Not with the $75

Great owners trying to turn an old Holiday Inn (now Clarion) around. They were super sweet. Basic rooms that were clean and quiet. No issues at all. Would stay there again if I ever needed a bed in that area.

Staff was friendly, but check-in - even after prepaying. - was slow. While the room was clean and comfortable, the lobby, elevator, hallways (all common areas) were not clean, but rather tatty. The elevator smelled like weed, my room smelled like weed. At about 1:30am, there was a loud and long argument in the room next to mine. That can't be blamed on the hotelier, but perhaps does speak to the quality of patrons. In the end, it was a fair price for the room in my opinion, but my wife would have likely refused to stay there.

I had to wipe out the bathtub because there were black smudges. I don't know what there were. Thankfully, I usually have Lysol wipes. And my toilet at home was cleaner than the one in the hotel room. Behind the bathroom door there were some cobwebs - this implies the rooms are not cleaned consistently. I don't think the floor had been mopped recently, either. There was only one trashcan which was strange to me since rooms usually have two. The bed was okay with three pillows, the fridge worked, air conditioning worked, the shower worked, the staff was nice. For breakfast, we went somewhere else in town (The Village Restaurant) after a 90 second survey of the hotel food area: the coffee was average, they had a waffle machine, a few muffins and white bread, some bags of oatmeal, a handful of clementines, and I think a chocolate crispy cereal in the dispenser. There was a gallon of milk in the small fridge, and the juice machine only put out clear fluids, so we let the staff know. The food area used to be part of a restaurant, so the seating would have been nice if there was anything really worth eating. Overall, 2.65/5 stars. I didn't like this hotel. Booked it because was available for one night under $100.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful! The manager Heather was Great and very accepting of my dog and allowed all his kisses he decided to give her! 😂 I was concerned that I wouldn’t be able to find a place to stay because of his size (he’s a Great Pyrenees Lab mix so at a year old he is 90lbs) but the staff was Great! Everything was wonderful during our stay!

This isnt my first time staying here but i havent been in awhile. For starters the pool is closed due to health inspector closing it down and thats not noted on the website. Also the grab and go breakfast was also no existent. I asked for towels and wash cloths and 24 hours later i still didnt have them. House keeping is non existent, we just had to keep piling our trash up. I appreciate how kind each staff member was because i got stuck here due to a snow storm but i wish the website was more honest that way my kids wouldve been snowed in somewhere with an actual pool. Also, no one plowed the parking lot.

Very nice and accommodating staff - many however do not understand English well so it was a challenge to get housekeeping to understand me. The hotel is being renovated so I expected some debris. My room was large and comfortable.

The property was dirty and had a bad smell. When entering the room you can tell that it had been sprayed heavily to cover up the smell. The place was also in a state of disrepair. Prices were cheap but should probably be lowered more for the condition of the property. The staff was super friendly and seemed they were doing their best with what they had been given.

Rooms had mold on the walls. No shower curtains. One our rooms our toddler found a vape on the floor and almost put it in his mouth. The pull out couch had a urine stain sheet and mattress. We had booked 4 rooms and had to be move because of these issues. The hotel staff was great in assisting us.

Excellent hotel--D-rating for hotels.com

The hotel was excellent. The front desk clerk at check in was also excellent. The only bad part was the error made by hotels.com and we will NOT be getting a refund from them so we are out ALL of that money. I will never use hotels.com again nor do I recommend that anyone else use it. We are not rich people so to get charges by them that they will not reverse does put a hole in our pocket. But the hotel itself and the evening clerk were excellent. The clerk did all that she could to help us-even talked with hotels.com personnel to explain their error!

Underwhelmed

The lobby was basic but clean and the staff was friendly; However, immediately upon exiting the elevator on the floors, we were hit by a musty, mildew smell that continued throughout. The floors in our room felt dirty and there was a large dead bug in the floor next to the commode in the bathroom. The beds and pillows were clean and comfortable, though. Breakfast in the morning was decent. There wasn't much option or variety, but it was good. It worked for our very basic need but we travel to this area once a year and will likely not stay here again.

Remodeling

There were signs they were remodeling. Room was great and comfortable. Bathroom ceiling needed work. Remote didn’t work and was dirty. There was also a gentleman hanging out in the lobby every time I came and left. He seemed special needs and I felt very uncomfortable especially traveling solo. When checking in the lady pointed to my room number instead of saying it. She didn’t have any envelopes to write down my room number so I had to remember it. Overall, not bad accommodations but they are still working on things.
