Opal's Cottage was absolutely the nicest of those properties. It was everything we expected from the on-line description. The apparent recent updates were a welcome surprise and impressed everyone in our party. The location was perfect - such close proximity to the center of Hope Town and the Upper Dock. The front porch was awesome. We spent hours enjoying the porch with each other and passers-by. When we wanted a bit more privacy or more breeze we shifted to the back patio and deck - perfect! We had a beautiful views of the ocean from the deck and up the slight hill in the backyard, as well as views of the lighthouse from a number of vantage points inside and out. The property representatives were professional and all of the other locals we encountered were extremely helpful and friendly.
